stdClass Object ( [id] => 229171 [title] => Retrospektiva najpoznatije nepoznate umjetnice [alias] => retrospektiva-najpoznatije-nepoznate-umjetnice [catid] => 256 [published] => 1 [introtext] => [fulltext] => U znak poštovanja prema lanjskom jubileju kad je Yoko Ono proslavila svoj 80. rođendan, španjolski muzej Guggenheim u Bilbau organizirao je veliku retrospektivnu izložbu te intrigantne umjetnice koja donosi više od 200 umjetničkih djela, nastalih od sredine pedesetih godina prošlog stoljeća do danas.

Yoko Ono (1933.) začetnica je brojnih umjetničkih gibanja druge polovice prošlog stoljeća, a priznata je kao jedan od najistaknutijih avangardnih umjetnika te se smatra jednom od preteča konceptualne umjetnosti. Nakana je izložbe u Bilbau ponuditi presjek stvaralaštva te jedinstvene žene pa izložba ostaje otvorena sve do 1. rujna.

Prošle godine Yoko Ono je u Beču primila nagradu “Oskar Kokoschka” što je najznačajnije austrijsko priznanje za likovnu umjetnost. I tada je žiri, baš kao i organizatori u muzeju Guggenheim, istaknuo aktualnost i sveobuhvatnost njezina rada.

U šezdesetim godinama prošlog stoljeća postala je partnerica Johna Lennona što je u mnogome odredilo njezin život. Upoznali su se 1966. godine na njezinoj izložbi u Indica Galleryju u Londonu. Prodavala je, između ostalog, izloženu svježu jabuku za 480 dolara ili vreću noktiju za 240 dolara.

John je tada zapazio njezin izložak nazvan Ceiling Painting, za koji je kasnije izjavio: ‘’Stojiš na ljestvama i osjećaš se glupo, možeš pasti svake sekunde i gledaš kroz povećalo, a na stropu piše ‘’Yes’’. Sva tadašnja takozvana avangardna umjetnost bila je negativna: razbij glasovir čekićem, uništi skulpturu… Dosadno, negativno sranje. Sve je imalo prefiks ‘’anti’’. Zbog toga me taj pozitivni ‘’Yes’’ zadržao u galeriji.’’

Istina, kazao je još nešto o njoj: “Ona je svjetski najpoznatija nepoznata umjetnica: svi znaju njezino ime, ali nitko ne zna čime se bavi’’.

Yoko Ono proslavila svoj 80. rođendan, španjolski muzej Guggenheim u Bilbau organizirao je veliku retrospektivnu izložbu te intrigantne umjetnice koja donosi više od 200 umjetničkih djela, nastalih od sredine pedesetih godina prošlog stoljeća do danas.

Yoko Ono (1933.) začetnica je brojnih umjetničkih gibanja druge polovice prošlog stoljeća, a priznata je kao jedan od najistaknutijih avangardnih umjetnika te se smatra jednom od preteča konceptualne umjetnosti. Nakana je izložbe u Bilbau ponuditi presjek stvaralaštva te jedinstvene žene pa izložba ostaje otvorena sve do 1. rujna.

Prošle godine Yoko Ono je u Beču primila nagradu “Oskar Kokoschka” što je najznačajnije austrijsko priznanje za likovnu umjetnost. I tada je žiri, baš kao i organizatori u muzeju Guggenheim, istaknuo aktualnost i sveobuhvatnost njezina rada.

U šezdesetim godinama prošlog stoljeća postala je partnerica Johna Lennona što je u mnogome odredilo njezin život. Upoznali su se 1966. godine na njezinoj izložbi u Indica Galleryju u Londonu. Prodavala je, između ostalog, izloženu svježu jabuku za 480 dolara ili vreću noktiju za 240 dolara.

John je tada zapazio njezin izložak nazvan Ceiling Painting, za koji je kasnije izjavio: ‘’Stojiš na ljestvama i osjećaš se glupo, možeš pasti svake sekunde i gledaš kroz povećalo, a na stropu piše ‘’Yes’’. Sva tadašnja takozvana avangardna umjetnost bila je negativna: razbij glasovir čekićem, uništi skulpturu… Dosadno, negativno sranje. Sve je imalo prefiks ‘’anti’’. Zbog toga me taj pozitivni ‘’Yes’’ zadržao u galeriji.’’

Istina, kazao je još nešto o njoj: “Ona je svjetski najpoznatija nepoznata umjetnica: svi znaju njezino ime, ali nitko ne zna čime se bavi’’.
