Selo Drum broji oko 500 stanovnika, a smješteno je na južnoj strani lmotskog polja u općini Podbablje (u podnožju brda Babe, po kojem općina i nosi naziv). S obzirom da je tu prolazila stara rimska cesta iz Salone (Solin) prema Naroni (Metković) ljudi su gradili kuće uz rubove ceste koja je danas, kažu nam mještani, trkalište za automobile.

- Zbog prebrze vožnje postavljeni su "ležeći policajci" na nekoliko punktova u selu. Ujutro ih postave, a popodne ih već nema ili su iskidani. Zna se i tko to radi, no nitko ništa ne poduzima - kaže nam Marija Cvitanušić.

Nikoga na ulici

Rijetko ćete radnim danom vidjeti nekoga vani jer većina stanovnika radi u Imotskom ili okolici, a ljudi koje vidite najčešće neće htjeti razgovarati kad čuju da ste novinar. Nema veze koja je tema, "nemojte to svatit osobno, ali mi van ovde ne volimo novinare. Jedno in kažeš, drugo napišu, pa susjeda sa susjedon zavade. Evo, ja ću kazat da se ljudi ovde slabo bave poljoprivredon, a susjed će me napast jer on ima nešto kunpira i kupusa i di san unda? Šta će meni slika u novinama ako će me susjed zamrzit? Danas ti je susjed sve jer dica otiđu svojin puten i nema ti ko dodat čašu vode. Više valja dobar susjed negoli sin u Americi, a najgore ti je kad nemaš ni jedno ni drugo", veli naš sugovornik.

Dječji vrtić ‘Ribice‘

Radi dobrosusjedskih odnosa pokušali smo naći nekog tko živi malo podalje od ostalih. Nailazili smo na širom otvorene kuće, no nigdje nikoga pred kućom, niti psa da zalaje u znak dobrodošlice ili opreza. Tek se ponekad pomaknu zavjese na prozorima, ukaže se nečije lice, no čim nam se pogledi sretnu, osoba brže-bolje nestane iza zavjesa. Sreli smo ispred kuće gospođu koja se prepustila zrakama sunca, no, premda iznimno ljubazna, ni ona nije željela istupiti javno.

- Ja vam ništa ne znan reć, ovde san se udala i još se navikavan! - rekla nam je gospođa upućujući nas svećeniku.

Prolazeći glavnom cestom primjećujemo dosta obnovljenih kuća, kao i starijih zdanja, a objekt koji izgradnjom i stilom odskače od svega viđenoga je nedavno otvoreni dječji vrtić "Ribice" u kojem trenutno boravi stotinu i deset mališana.

- Vrtić je otvoren u srpnju prošle godine, a s radom smo započeli u rujnu. Atmosfera je odlična jer se vodi računa o djeci i o radnicima, kojih je ukupno četrdesetak. Lokalna samouprava nas podržava i nikad nam ništa nije bilo uskraćeno. Imamo i dvadesetak djece iz drugih općina, pogotovo u jasličkoj skupini, o kojima brinu tri odgojiteljice.

Poseban naglasak je na raznovrsnoj prehrani, a jelovnik sastavlja naša medicinska sestra. Kad su djeca sretna, nikome ništa nije teško. U vrtiću radi uglavnom mlađi kadar s područja općine Podbablje, a ja sam među starijima - rekla nam je tridesetpetogodišnja ravnateljica Marija Turić.

Nasmijana lica

Od čistačice do kuharice, sva lica su bila nasmijana, a takav je bio i naš sljedeći sugovornik Tonči Perkušić koji je bio uvjeren da smo zalutali jer "u Drum turisti slabo dolaze". Premda selo graniči s Grubinama koje su postale turistička destinacija jer kuće s bazenima i teniskim terenima nisu rijetkost, u Drumu nije takav slučaj.

- Nisan se baš nagleda turista ovdje. Ako kogod i dođe, to su naši odvanka. U selu nema sadržaja ni za odrasle ni za dicu. Infrastruktura je u redu, mada većina ljudi koristi vodu iz čatrnje. Ja vodon iz vodovoda polivan vrtal, a vodu iz čatrnje pijen. Nismo daleko od Imotskoga, pa pun bus ide odavde i razvozi dicu u škole.

Moja tetka je imala dvanaestero dice, a moderne familije imaju po jedno-dvoje. Glavno da selo ne zamre, pa dobro i to jedno. Imamo poštu, vrtić, školu i crkvu. Kome je malo, taj ide odavde - kaže Tonči.

S obzirom da je cesta u lošem stanju, nije nam najjasnije kako se ovuda može brzo voziti, a da ne strada guma ili trap automobila. Ako se to i dogodi, automehaničari su tu negdje (sudeći po tablama kojima se oglašavaju).

Ljudi su zatvoreni, ali ljubazni i spremni pomoći. To je mala zajednica koja se drži skupa, i da parafraziramo Tončevu rečenicu, kome je to malo, taj ide odavde.

Selo Drum broji oko 500 stanovnika, a smješteno je na južnoj strani lmotskog polja u općini Podbablje (u podnožju brda Babe, po kojem općina i nosi naziv). S obzirom da je tu prolazila stara rimska cesta iz Salone (Solin) prema Naroni (Metković) ljudi su gradili kuće uz rubove ceste koja je danas, kažu nam mještani, trkalište za automobile.

- Zbog prebrze vožnje postavljeni su "ležeći policajci" na nekoliko punktova u selu. Ujutro ih postave, a popodne ih već nema ili su iskidani. Zna se i tko to radi, no nitko ništa ne poduzima - kaže nam Marija Cvitanušić.

Nikoga na ulici

Rijetko ćete radnim danom vidjeti nekoga vani jer većina stanovnika radi u Imotskom ili okolici, a ljudi koje vidite najčešće neće htjeti razgovarati kad čuju da ste novinar. Nema veze koja je tema, "nemojte to svatit osobno, ali mi van ovde ne volimo novinare. Jedno in kažeš, drugo napišu, pa susjeda sa susjedon zavade. Evo, ja ću kazat da se ljudi ovde slabo bave poljoprivredon, a susjed će me napast jer on ima nešto kunpira i kupusa i di san unda? Šta će meni slika u novinama ako će me susjed zamrzit? Danas ti je susjed sve jer dica otiđu svojin puten i nema ti ko dodat čašu vode. Više valja dobar susjed negoli sin u Americi, a najgore ti je kad nemaš ni jedno ni drugo", veli naš sugovornik.

Dječji vrtić ‘Ribice‘

Radi dobrosusjedskih odnosa pokušali smo naći nekog tko živi malo podalje od ostalih. Nailazili smo na širom otvorene kuće, no nigdje nikoga pred kućom, niti psa da zalaje u znak dobrodošlice ili opreza. Tek se ponekad pomaknu zavjese na prozorima, ukaže se nečije lice, no čim nam se pogledi sretnu, osoba brže-bolje nestane iza zavjesa. Sreli smo ispred kuće gospođu koja se prepustila zrakama sunca, no, premda iznimno ljubazna, ni ona nije željela istupiti javno.

- Ja vam ništa ne znan reć, ovde san se udala i još se navikavan! - rekla nam je gospođa upućujući nas svećeniku.

Prolazeći glavnom cestom primjećujemo dosta obnovljenih kuća, kao i starijih zdanja, a objekt koji izgradnjom i stilom odskače od svega viđenoga je nedavno otvoreni dječji vrtić "Ribice" u kojem trenutno boravi stotinu i deset mališana.

- Vrtić je otvoren u srpnju prošle godine, a s radom smo započeli u rujnu. Atmosfera je odlična jer se vodi računa o djeci i o radnicima, kojih je ukupno četrdesetak. Lokalna samouprava nas podržava i nikad nam ništa nije bilo uskraćeno. Imamo i dvadesetak djece iz drugih općina, pogotovo u jasličkoj skupini, o kojima brinu tri odgojiteljice.

Poseban naglasak je na raznovrsnoj prehrani, a jelovnik sastavlja naša medicinska sestra. Kad su djeca sretna, nikome ništa nije teško. U vrtiću radi uglavnom mlađi kadar s područja općine Podbablje, a ja sam među starijima - rekla nam je tridesetpetogodišnja ravnateljica Marija Turić.

Nasmijana lica

Od čistačice do kuharice, sva lica su bila nasmijana, a takav je bio i naš sljedeći sugovornik Tonči Perkušić koji je bio uvjeren da smo zalutali jer "u Drum turisti slabo dolaze". Premda selo graniči s Grubinama koje su postale turistička destinacija jer kuće s bazenima i teniskim terenima nisu rijetkost, u Drumu nije takav slučaj.

- Nisan se baš nagleda turista ovdje. Ako kogod i dođe, to su naši odvanka. U selu nema sadržaja ni za odrasle ni za dicu. Infrastruktura je u redu, mada većina ljudi koristi vodu iz čatrnje. Ja vodon iz vodovoda polivan vrtal, a vodu iz čatrnje pijen. Nismo daleko od Imotskoga, pa pun bus ide odavde i razvozi dicu u škole.

Moja tetka je imala dvanaestero dice, a moderne familije imaju po jedno-dvoje. Glavno da selo ne zamre, pa dobro i to jedno. Imamo poštu, vrtić, školu i crkvu. Kome je malo, taj ide odavde - kaže Tonči.

S obzirom da je cesta u lošem stanju, nije nam najjasnije kako se ovuda može brzo voziti, a da ne strada guma ili trap automobila. Ako se to i dogodi, automehaničari su tu negdje (sudeći po tablama kojima se oglašavaju).

Ljudi su zatvoreni, ali ljubazni i spremni pomoći. To je mala zajednica koja se drži skupa, i da parafraziramo Tončevu rečenicu, kome je to malo, taj ide odavde.
