Ljubavna priča o nogometu i Unešiću rodila se davne 1948. godine kada se u srcu Dalmatinske zagore rodila ideja o osnivanju nogometnog kluba od kojeg se tada mnogo očekivalo. Planirano, učinjeno.
Igrači Zadrugara, kako se klub prvotno nazvao, ubrzo su počeli rastezati gnjate na Borovištu tada još bez zapaženijih rezultata. Tijekom svog postojanja klub je više puta mijenjao ime. Jedno vrijeme se zvao 9. maj, od 1968. Razvitak, a od 1996. godine nosi ime NK Zagora kada kreće sa zapaženijim uspjesima. Onaj iz sezone 2008./09. svakako će ostati upisan u povijest kluba kada su u četvrt finalu hrvatskog Kupa snage odmjerili sa zagrebačkim Dinamom.

To je bio događaj kakav se ne pamti u Unešiću kada se za svoju momčad izgaralo na terenu i tribinama. Upravo taj sjedeći dio odnosno južna tribina ovih se dana upotpunjava s novih petstotinjak sjedalica.
Zalog je to šestotinjak registriranih “Pašajica”, tamošnjih navijača od čijih se članarina i donacija većih privatnih sponzora pokrenula i nadogradnja i uređenje novih prostorija što je iziskivalo dodatna ulaganja značajnijih iznosa novca.

- Svake godine organiziramo donatorsku večeru. Koncem prošle godine prikupili smo značajnih četrdesetak tisuća eura. Financijska je to injekcija koja nam kao što vidite, itekako dobro dođe - tvrdi predsjednik kluba Mario Paić, najavljujući i skoru izgradnju novog igrališta u neposrednoj blizini starog.
Projekt je to čiji je nositelj općina Unešić i HNS u čijem je programu donacija vrijedna 250 tisuća eura koliko košta umjetni travnjak. Dok će se za pripremne radove pobrinuti klub, sponzori i ostali ljubitelji unešićke Zagore.
Danas klub iz Unešića okuplja više od 150 djece različitih uzrasta podijeljenih u šest kategorija. Otuda ljubav i nada da će Zagora ponovo zablistati i uskoro na Borovištu u još ljepšem ambijentu ugostiti vodeće nogometne rivale iz Splita, Zagreba i Rijeke.

Ljubavna priča o nogometu i Unešiću rodila se davne 1948. godine kada se u srcu Dalmatinske zagore rodila ideja o osnivanju nogometnog kluba od kojeg se tada mnogo očekivalo. Planirano, učinjeno.
Igrači Zadrugara, kako se klub prvotno nazvao, ubrzo su počeli rastezati gnjate na Borovištu tada još bez zapaženijih rezultata. Tijekom svog postojanja klub je više puta mijenjao ime. Jedno vrijeme se zvao 9. maj, od 1968. Razvitak, a od 1996. godine nosi ime NK Zagora kada kreće sa zapaženijim uspjesima. Onaj iz sezone 2008./09. svakako će ostati upisan u povijest kluba kada su u četvrt finalu hrvatskog Kupa snage odmjerili sa zagrebačkim Dinamom.

To je bio događaj kakav se ne pamti u Unešiću kada se za svoju momčad izgaralo na terenu i tribinama. Upravo taj sjedeći dio odnosno južna tribina ovih se dana upotpunjava s novih petstotinjak sjedalica.
Zalog je to šestotinjak registriranih “Pašajica”, tamošnjih navijača od čijih se članarina i donacija većih privatnih sponzora pokrenula i nadogradnja i uređenje novih prostorija što je iziskivalo dodatna ulaganja značajnijih iznosa novca.

- Svake godine organiziramo donatorsku večeru. Koncem prošle godine prikupili smo značajnih četrdesetak tisuća eura. Financijska je to injekcija koja nam kao što vidite, itekako dobro dođe - tvrdi predsjednik kluba Mario Paić, najavljujući i skoru izgradnju novog igrališta u neposrednoj blizini starog.
Projekt je to čiji je nositelj općina Unešić i HNS u čijem je programu donacija vrijedna 250 tisuća eura koliko košta umjetni travnjak. Dok će se za pripremne radove pobrinuti klub, sponzori i ostali ljubitelji unešićke Zagore.
Danas klub iz Unešića okuplja više od 150 djece različitih uzrasta podijeljenih u šest kategorija. Otuda ljubav i nada da će Zagora ponovo zablistati i uskoro na Borovištu u još ljepšem ambijentu ugostiti vodeće nogometne rivale iz Splita, Zagreba i Rijeke.
