Svečanom sjednicom Općinskoga vijeća, u hotelu "Dunatovi dvori" u Preku na otoku Ugljanu obilježen je Dan Općine Preko i blagdan nebeskoga zaštitnika sv. Mihovila, pišu Naši školji.
Kako je u uvodnom govoru podsjetila Ingrid Melada, predsjednica Općinskog vijeća, ove se godine obilježava 30. obljetnica utemeljenja te lokalne jedinice, od 2017. Dan Općine slavi se 29. rujna, na blagdan sv. Mihovila.
Osvrnuvši se na proteklih godinu dana u životu općinske uprave, načelnik općine Jure Brižić (HDZ) kazao je da su realizirani mnogi projekti kojima je poboljšana komunalna, društvena i gospodarska infrastruktura.
- Prošle godine bili smo na svečanom otvorenju ovoga hotela, koji je u dvije sezone podigao turističku ponudu cijeloga otoka na novu razinu. Sada sa zadovoljstvom najavljujem da će za nekoliko mjeseci u središtu Preka početi izgradnja još jednoga hotela, s četiri zvjezdice, iz lanca "Hilton".

Podsjećam da smo obnovili Dom kulture u Ugljanu, pri kraju je gradnja Društvenog doma u Lukoranu, iz Programa razvoja otoka u 2023. godini Ministarstva regionalnoga razvoja i fondova Europske unije, našoj Općini odobreno je 116.500 eura za uređenje i opremanje Društvenog doma u Poljani te također za uređenje i opremanje stare uljare na Sestrunju.
Tu je i jedan od najvažnijih projekata, Aglomeracija Preko – Kali, za što smo od Ministarstva gospodarstva dobili bespovratnih pet milijuna eura - rekao je Brižić i dodao kako se paralelno s gospodarskim i infrastrukturnim projektima ulaže u kulturu, društveni život i socijalu.
Novi hotel u Preku gradit će tvrtka "Preko" (u vlasništvu grupacije HOK osiguranja). Kako je Slobodna Dalmacija pisala početkom ove godine, riječ je o projektu iza koje stoji osiguravateljska tvrtka čiji je savjetnik Željko Dilber, moćni zadarski HDZ-ovac koji je u široj javnosti pznat kao kum Ante Gotovine, generala u miru.
Riječ je o moderno uređenom hotelu, a bit će izgrađen na mjestu nekadašnjeg smještajnog objekta u Preku. Ishodovana je građevinska dozvola, kao i sva potrebna dokumentacija za projekt na parceli od 3600 četvornih metara.
Hotel će imati 65 dizajnerski opremljenih soba, bazen, restoran, kao i sve ostale popratne sadržaje koji će budućim gostima pružati kompletnu i kvalitetnu uslugu.

- Svakako treba spomenuti projekt uređenja Tvrđave svetog Mihovila što ćemo, nadamo se, realizirati uz pomoć Ministarstva turizma i sporta i Ministarstva regionalnoga razvoja, kako bi našem dragulju podarili sjaj koji zaslužuje, poručio je načelnik Brižić.
Zbog svega toga, dodao je, smatramo da živimo u jednoj od najatraktivnijih otočnih općina, u zajednici koja ima svijetlu budućnost i u kojoj se vodi briga o svim generacijama - kazao je načelnik.

Na kraju svečane sjednice Općinskoga vijeća, već tradicionalno uručena su godišnja priznanja, a ovogodišnji dobitnici su:
- posthumno arheologinja Martina Dubolnić Glavan za razvoj kulturno-povijesne i arheološke baštine Općine Preko i Malog Lukorana
- Sveta Eufemija Society iz New Yorka i New Jersejy za višegodišnje donacije Župi Sutomišćica/Poljana
- Marija Rušev za doprinos u promicanju kulture i otočne baštine
-Maestro Ivo Nižić za doprinos u razvoju kulture i otočne baštine
- Profesor Robert Bacalja za očuvanje otočne baštine i čakavskoga govora

Svečanom sjednicom Općinskoga vijeća, u hotelu "Dunatovi dvori" u Preku na otoku Ugljanu obilježen je Dan Općine Preko i blagdan nebeskoga zaštitnika sv. Mihovila, pišu Naši školji.
Kako je u uvodnom govoru podsjetila Ingrid Melada, predsjednica Općinskog vijeća, ove se godine obilježava 30. obljetnica utemeljenja te lokalne jedinice, od 2017. Dan Općine slavi se 29. rujna, na blagdan sv. Mihovila.
Osvrnuvši se na proteklih godinu dana u životu općinske uprave, načelnik općine Jure Brižić (HDZ) kazao je da su realizirani mnogi projekti kojima je poboljšana komunalna, društvena i gospodarska infrastruktura.
- Prošle godine bili smo na svečanom otvorenju ovoga hotela, koji je u dvije sezone podigao turističku ponudu cijeloga otoka na novu razinu. Sada sa zadovoljstvom najavljujem da će za nekoliko mjeseci u središtu Preka početi izgradnja još jednoga hotela, s četiri zvjezdice, iz lanca "Hilton".

Podsjećam da smo obnovili Dom kulture u Ugljanu, pri kraju je gradnja Društvenog doma u Lukoranu, iz Programa razvoja otoka u 2023. godini Ministarstva regionalnoga razvoja i fondova Europske unije, našoj Općini odobreno je 116.500 eura za uređenje i opremanje Društvenog doma u Poljani te također za uređenje i opremanje stare uljare na Sestrunju.
Tu je i jedan od najvažnijih projekata, Aglomeracija Preko – Kali, za što smo od Ministarstva gospodarstva dobili bespovratnih pet milijuna eura - rekao je Brižić i dodao kako se paralelno s gospodarskim i infrastrukturnim projektima ulaže u kulturu, društveni život i socijalu.
Novi hotel u Preku gradit će tvrtka "Preko" (u vlasništvu grupacije HOK osiguranja). Kako je Slobodna Dalmacija pisala početkom ove godine, riječ je o projektu iza koje stoji osiguravateljska tvrtka čiji je savjetnik Željko Dilber, moćni zadarski HDZ-ovac koji je u široj javnosti pznat kao kum Ante Gotovine, generala u miru.
Riječ je o moderno uređenom hotelu, a bit će izgrađen na mjestu nekadašnjeg smještajnog objekta u Preku. Ishodovana je građevinska dozvola, kao i sva potrebna dokumentacija za projekt na parceli od 3600 četvornih metara.
Hotel će imati 65 dizajnerski opremljenih soba, bazen, restoran, kao i sve ostale popratne sadržaje koji će budućim gostima pružati kompletnu i kvalitetnu uslugu.

- Svakako treba spomenuti projekt uređenja Tvrđave svetog Mihovila što ćemo, nadamo se, realizirati uz pomoć Ministarstva turizma i sporta i Ministarstva regionalnoga razvoja, kako bi našem dragulju podarili sjaj koji zaslužuje, poručio je načelnik Brižić.
Zbog svega toga, dodao je, smatramo da živimo u jednoj od najatraktivnijih otočnih općina, u zajednici koja ima svijetlu budućnost i u kojoj se vodi briga o svim generacijama - kazao je načelnik.
