Teško je danas u Šibeniku pronaći mladića koji gaji veću ljubav prema sportu od Antonija Šaršanskog – učenika trećeg razreda Srednje ekonomske škole Šibenik kojeg na putu do brojnih sportskih ostvarenja nisu spriječila ni invalidska kolica. Posljednji uspjeh osamnaestogodišnji Antonio postigao je na nedavno održanom Prvenstvu Hrvatske u parakarateu na kojem je pomeo konkurenciju i u rodni grad donio novu, zlatnu medalju.

- Mislim da će nam u stanu trebati nova polica, toliko je tih pehara, priznanja i medalja da ne znamo više gdje s njima - kroz šalu nam kazuje ponosna majka Lucija.

Na Antonijev uspjeh ponosan je i jedan od trenera Karate kluba "Šibenik 1066", Ivan Zoričić, pod čijom palicom u dvorani odmah do Glazbene škole Ivana Lukačića, uz Antonija, trenira gotovo stotinu djece.

Volja i energija

- Volja i energija, to je izuzetno bitno u, nazovi, malim sportovima kao što je karate. Uvjeti su nam dobri, da je dvorana duplo veća bilo bi bolje, ali ne smijemo se žaliti - ističe Zoričić, koji se sa svim članovima kluba uskoro okreće novim izazovima. Već u svibnju na rasporedu je Europsko prvenstvo u Zadru. Stiže li nova medalja u Šibenik, kakva su očekivanja, pitamo Antonija.

- Zbog kategorija koje su, da tako kažem, malo nezgodno podijeljene konkurencija je velika, ali očekujem dobar rezultat - ističe Antonio koji osim na tatamiju, odlične uspjehe postiže i u školskim klupama.

Još je cijela godina srednjoškolskog obrazovanja pred njim, ali misli su mu već okrenute prema Kineziološkom fakultetu u Splitu kojeg bi htio upisati. Antoniju sport, reći će nam majka Lucija, znači - život.

Koliko je ovaj mladić, koji nas je oduševio energijom i pozitivom, zaljubljen u sport dovoljno govori činjenica da se osim u parakarateu okušao u, pazite sad: plivanju, boćanju, stolnom tenisu, košarci, gimnastici i odbojci. I na tome ne planira stati.

- Od sporta ne odustajem. Ako odem u Split na studij volio bi se okušati u para atletici, a možda se opet i vratim košarci u kojoj sam bio također dobar. Vidjet ćemo što budućnost donosi - kazuje nam ovaj Šibenčanin.

Antoniju je, dodajmo, s 13 godina potvrđena dijagnoza CMT (Charcot-Marie-Toothova bolest). Riječ je o rijetkoj bolesti od koje oboli dva do pet posto populacije i za koju, na žalost, nema lijeka, osim suplemenata i fizikalnih terapija.

Lijeka za ovo nema

- Dosta ljudi koji imaju istu bolest mogu hodati, međutim Antonio je među rijetkom grupom ljudi koji imaju teža oštećenja. Lijeka za sada nema. Ne može se uspoređivati, ali kada je upornost u pitanju Antonio je sličan Draženu Petroviću, tvrdoglav i uporan kao tovar - kazuje nam kroz smijeh Antonijeva majka.

I taman kad smo se pozdravljali, jer došlo je vrijeme za trening, dosta je bilo ćakule, Antonio nas je nasmijao do suza i još jednom podsjetio kolika se energija i želja za sportskim nadmetanjem u njemu krije.

- Ive, kakav si za trčanje, idemo li ove godine na Wings for life. Lani sam prešao osam kilometara – bacio je rukavicu izazova pred trenera Zoričića. Možda ih i vidimo na utrci u Zadru, tko zna. Kako bilo, Antonio je – čudo.

Mladi Šibenčanin ne zna kud će s pustim trofejima

Teško je danas u Šibeniku pronaći mladića koji gaji veću ljubav prema sportu od Antonija Šaršanskog – učenika trećeg razreda Srednje ekonomske škole Šibenik kojeg na putu do brojnih sportskih ostvarenja nisu spriječila ni invalidska kolica. Posljednji uspjeh osamnaestogodišnji Antonio postigao je na nedavno održanom Prvenstvu Hrvatske u parakarateu na kojem je pomeo konkurenciju i u rodni grad donio novu, zlatnu medalju.

- Mislim da će nam u stanu trebati nova polica, toliko je tih pehara, priznanja i medalja da ne znamo više gdje s njima - kroz šalu nam kazuje ponosna majka Lucija.

Na Antonijev uspjeh ponosan je i jedan od trenera Karate kluba "Šibenik 1066", Ivan Zoričić, pod čijom palicom u dvorani odmah do Glazbene škole Ivana Lukačića, uz Antonija, trenira gotovo stotinu djece.

Volja i energija

- Volja i energija, to je izuzetno bitno u, nazovi, malim sportovima kao što je karate. Uvjeti su nam dobri, da je dvorana duplo veća bilo bi bolje, ali ne smijemo se žaliti - ističe Zoričić, koji se sa svim članovima kluba uskoro okreće novim izazovima. Već u svibnju na rasporedu je Europsko prvenstvo u Zadru. Stiže li nova medalja u Šibenik, kakva su očekivanja, pitamo Antonija.

- Zbog kategorija koje su, da tako kažem, malo nezgodno podijeljene konkurencija je velika, ali očekujem dobar rezultat - ističe Antonio koji osim na tatamiju, odlične uspjehe postiže i u školskim klupama.

Još je cijela godina srednjoškolskog obrazovanja pred njim, ali misli su mu već okrenute prema Kineziološkom fakultetu u Splitu kojeg bi htio upisati. Antoniju sport, reći će nam majka Lucija, znači - život.

Koliko je ovaj mladić, koji nas je oduševio energijom i pozitivom, zaljubljen u sport dovoljno govori činjenica da se osim u parakarateu okušao u, pazite sad: plivanju, boćanju, stolnom tenisu, košarci, gimnastici i odbojci. I na tome ne planira stati.

- Od sporta ne odustajem. Ako odem u Split na studij volio bi se okušati u para atletici, a možda se opet i vratim košarci u kojoj sam bio također dobar. Vidjet ćemo što budućnost donosi - kazuje nam ovaj Šibenčanin.

Antoniju je, dodajmo, s 13 godina potvrđena dijagnoza CMT (Charcot-Marie-Toothova bolest). Riječ je o rijetkoj bolesti od koje oboli dva do pet posto populacije i za koju, na žalost, nema lijeka, osim suplemenata i fizikalnih terapija.

Lijeka za ovo nema

- Dosta ljudi koji imaju istu bolest mogu hodati, međutim Antonio je među rijetkom grupom ljudi koji imaju teža oštećenja. Lijeka za sada nema. Ne može se uspoređivati, ali kada je upornost u pitanju Antonio je sličan Draženu Petroviću, tvrdoglav i uporan kao tovar - kazuje nam kroz smijeh Antonijeva majka.

I taman kad smo se pozdravljali, jer došlo je vrijeme za trening, dosta je bilo ćakule, Antonio nas je nasmijao do suza i još jednom podsjetio kolika se energija i želja za sportskim nadmetanjem u njemu krije.

- Ive, kakav si za trčanje, idemo li ove godine na Wings for life. Lani sam prešao osam kilometara – bacio je rukavicu izazova pred trenera Zoričića. Možda ih i vidimo na utrci u Zadru, tko zna. Kako bilo, Antonio je – čudo.
