Da kriza svećeničkog zvanja trese najveće srednjodalmatinske škoje – Brač, Hvar i Vis – posvjedočilo je i pismo trootočnog biskupa mons. Petra Palića koje je uputio vjernicima.

To pismo pročitano je u svim župama i na misama koje su pohodili vjernici. Biskup Palić odlučio je, na temelju Zakonika kanonskog prava, dopustiti slavljenje nedjeljnih svetih misa već u subotu navečer, naravno u mjestima gdje pastoralne potrebe to traže, a u pojedinim župama Hvarsko-bračko-viške biskupije mise se već slave po tom nesvakidašnjem rasporedu.

Uzrok takvoj odluci krije se u nedostatku svećenika.

– Posljednjih godina u našoj biskupiji suočeni smo s mnogim izazovima, koji nas sile na nova promišljanja i nove promjene u pastoralu naših župnih zajednica, pa tako i na slavljenje nedjeljnih misa. Sve manji broj raspoloživih svećenika, nemogućnost obavljanja službe zbog starosti i lošeg zdravstvenog stanja župnika, ali i veliki broj nedjeljnih misa i sve manji broj vjernika u pojedinim župama, zahtijevaju da u životu zajednica dođe do određenih promjena – navodi mons. Palić u pisanom obraćanju vjernicima na trima škojima.

Na Braču, Hvaru i Visu ima ukupno 46 župa i na njima trenutačno djeluje 16 dijacezanskih svećenika i sedmorica redovnika koji obavljaju župničku dužnost. Od 16 dijecezanskih svećenika koji pastoralno djeluju, četvorica su u životnom kalendaru navršila 70 i više godina, a dvojica su starija od 65 godina.

Slična je situacija i kod redovnika župnika, jer su dvojica već "zagazila" u osmo životno desetljeće, a dvojica su starija od 65 godina. Dakle, brigu o 46 župa vode 23 svećenika, odnosno svaki od njih skrbi u prosjeku o dvije zajednice, a broj otočnih dušobrižnika bi zbog životne dobi vrlo brzo mogao biti i manji.

Uz to, primjerice na Braču, ima više slučajeva da svećenik pastoralno djeluje u čak tri župe. Mons. Palić poručio je da okolnosti u kojima se nalazi biskupija zahtijevaju i od svećenika i od vjernika više razumijevanja i otvorenosti za međusobnu suradnju.

– Moramo postati svjesni da nas okolnosti i situacije prisiljavaju na novo promišljanje pastoralnog djelovanja i prihvaćanje novih modela i načina u životu naših župnih zajednica. Ako kao vjernici svoje znanje i sposobnosti koje smo od Gospodina primili stavimo u službu naših župnih zajednica i za dobro naših župa, te kao vjernici preuzmemo svoj dio odgovornosti za život naših župa, onda će i naše župne zajednice postati mjesta zajedništva i međusobne podrške u življenju i svjedočenju vjere i slavljenju Gospodina – istaknuo je poglavar dalmatinske trootočne biskupije.

Mons. Palić je posebno vjernicima stavio na srce molitvu za duhovna zvanja, napominjući kako njihova biskupija trenutačno ima dvojicu kandidata koji se pripremaju za svećeništvo.

Da kriza svećeničkog zvanja trese najveće srednjodalmatinske škoje – Brač, Hvar i Vis – posvjedočilo je i pismo trootočnog biskupa mons. Petra Palića koje je uputio vjernicima.

To pismo pročitano je u svim župama i na misama koje su pohodili vjernici. Biskup Palić odlučio je, na temelju Zakonika kanonskog prava, dopustiti slavljenje nedjeljnih svetih misa već u subotu navečer, naravno u mjestima gdje pastoralne potrebe to traže, a u pojedinim župama Hvarsko-bračko-viške biskupije mise se već slave po tom nesvakidašnjem rasporedu.

Uzrok takvoj odluci krije se u nedostatku svećenika.

– Posljednjih godina u našoj biskupiji suočeni smo s mnogim izazovima, koji nas sile na nova promišljanja i nove promjene u pastoralu naših župnih zajednica, pa tako i na slavljenje nedjeljnih misa. Sve manji broj raspoloživih svećenika, nemogućnost obavljanja službe zbog starosti i lošeg zdravstvenog stanja župnika, ali i veliki broj nedjeljnih misa i sve manji broj vjernika u pojedinim župama, zahtijevaju da u životu zajednica dođe do određenih promjena – navodi mons. Palić u pisanom obraćanju vjernicima na trima škojima.

Na Braču, Hvaru i Visu ima ukupno 46 župa i na njima trenutačno djeluje 16 dijacezanskih svećenika i sedmorica redovnika koji obavljaju župničku dužnost. Od 16 dijecezanskih svećenika koji pastoralno djeluju, četvorica su u životnom kalendaru navršila 70 i više godina, a dvojica su starija od 65 godina.

Slična je situacija i kod redovnika župnika, jer su dvojica već "zagazila" u osmo životno desetljeće, a dvojica su starija od 65 godina. Dakle, brigu o 46 župa vode 23 svećenika, odnosno svaki od njih skrbi u prosjeku o dvije zajednice, a broj otočnih dušobrižnika bi zbog životne dobi vrlo brzo mogao biti i manji.

Uz to, primjerice na Braču, ima više slučajeva da svećenik pastoralno djeluje u čak tri župe. Mons. Palić poručio je da okolnosti u kojima se nalazi biskupija zahtijevaju i od svećenika i od vjernika više razumijevanja i otvorenosti za međusobnu suradnju.

– Moramo postati svjesni da nas okolnosti i situacije prisiljavaju na novo promišljanje pastoralnog djelovanja i prihvaćanje novih modela i načina u životu naših župnih zajednica. Ako kao vjernici svoje znanje i sposobnosti koje smo od Gospodina primili stavimo u službu naših župnih zajednica i za dobro naših župa, te kao vjernici preuzmemo svoj dio odgovornosti za život naših župa, onda će i naše župne zajednice postati mjesta zajedništva i međusobne podrške u življenju i svjedočenju vjere i slavljenju Gospodina – istaknuo je poglavar dalmatinske trootočne biskupije.

Mons. Palić je posebno vjernicima stavio na srce molitvu za duhovna zvanja, napominjući kako njihova biskupija trenutačno ima dvojicu kandidata koji se pripremaju za svećeništvo.

Kriza svećeničkog zvanja trese Crkvu: zbog manjka župnika mise na otocima slave se - subotom!; Biskup vjernicima uputio zabrinjavajuće pismo

Da kriza svećeničkog zvanja trese najveće srednjodalmatinske škoje – Brač, Hvar i Vis – posvjedočilo je i pismo trootočnog biskupa mons. Petra Palića koje je uputio vjernicima.

To pismo pročitano je u svim župama i na misama koje su pohodili vjernici. Biskup Palić odlučio je, na temelju Zakonika kanonskog prava, dopustiti slavljenje nedjeljnih svetih misa već u subotu navečer, naravno u mjestima gdje pastoralne potrebe to traže, a u pojedinim župama Hvarsko-bračko-viške biskupije mise se već slave po tom nesvakidašnjem rasporedu.

Uzrok takvoj odluci krije se u nedostatku svećenika.
