Na natječaj Google Photography Prize 2012, koji Google u suradnji s londonskom galerijom Saatchi ove godine organizira po prvi puta, prijavilo se gotovo 20 tisuća sudionika a Johanssonu (24) je pobjedu donijela serija fotografija najboljeg švedskog ronioca na 10 metara Christoffera Eskilssona.

Direktor galerije Saatchi Nigel Hurst kazao je kako je panel sudaca, kojega je jedan od članova bila i kustosica te galerije Susan Bright, bio "duboko dirnut mnoštvom neodoljivih, prekrasnih i raznovrsnih prizora" koji su ukazali na umjetnikovo "pozamašno umijeće i viziju".

"Johansson nam je odlučio pokazati alternativni način gledanja, na kakav nismo navikli u sportskoj fotografiji u medijima", naglasio je Hurst. "Umjesto glamuroznih akcijskih trenutaka sportaša u natjecanju, on je stvorio impresivne i neočekivane prizore fokusirane na duge usamljene sate treniranja i vježbe potrebne za postizanje izvrsnosti u nekom području", dodao je.

Googleova nagrada za najbolju svjetsku studentsku fotografiju dodjeljuje se studentima viših godina bilo kojeg smjera i fakulteta za fotografiju koja kreativnošću i inovativnim korištenjem tog medija "inspirira i potiče razvoj te umjetnosti". Kako se navodi na internetskim stranicama nagrade, studenti su odabrani kao ciljana kategorija zbog "vrlo aktivne studentske fotografske zajednice na Mreži spremne da prihvati takav izazov".

Pobjednik među ostalim dobiva nagradno putovanje s profesionalnim fotografom kao mentorom na odredište po svojem izboru, a deset finalista dobiva izložbu svojih radova u galeriji Saatchi u Londonu, koja ove godine traje do 22. srpnja.

studentsku fotografiju proglašen je švedski student Viktor Johansson za seriju fotografija "impresivne i neočekivane" kvalitete koje prikazuju sportaša na treningu, prenosi britanski BBC.

Na natječaj Google Photography Prize 2012, koji Google u suradnji s londonskom galerijom Saatchi ove godine organizira po prvi puta, prijavilo se gotovo 20 tisuća sudionika a Johanssonu (24) je pobjedu donijela serija fotografija najboljeg švedskog ronioca na 10 metara Christoffera Eskilssona.

Direktor galerije Saatchi Nigel Hurst kazao je kako je panel sudaca, kojega je jedan od članova bila i kustosica te galerije Susan Bright, bio "duboko dirnut mnoštvom neodoljivih, prekrasnih i raznovrsnih prizora" koji su ukazali na umjetnikovo "pozamašno umijeće i viziju".

"Johansson nam je odlučio pokazati alternativni način gledanja, na kakav nismo navikli u sportskoj fotografiji u medijima", naglasio je Hurst. "Umjesto glamuroznih akcijskih trenutaka sportaša u natjecanju, on je stvorio impresivne i neočekivane prizore fokusirane na duge usamljene sate treniranja i vježbe potrebne za postizanje izvrsnosti u nekom području", dodao je.

Googleova nagrada za najbolju svjetsku studentsku fotografiju dodjeljuje se studentima viših godina bilo kojeg smjera i fakulteta za fotografiju koja kreativnošću i inovativnim korištenjem tog medija "inspirira i potiče razvoj te umjetnosti". Kako se navodi na internetskim stranicama nagrade, studenti su odabrani kao ciljana kategorija zbog "vrlo aktivne studentske fotografske zajednice na Mreži spremne da prihvati takav izazov".

Pobjednik među ostalim dobiva nagradno putovanje s profesionalnim fotografom kao mentorom na odredište po svojem izboru, a deset finalista dobiva izložbu svojih radova u galeriji Saatchi u Londonu, koja ove godine traje do 22. srpnja.

Pobjednikom prvog Googleovog natječaja za najbolju svjetsku studentsku fotografiju proglašen je švedski student Viktor Johansson za seriju fotografija "impresivne i neočekivane" kvalitete koje prikazuju sportaša na treningu, prenosi britanski BBC.
