Navršila se 43. godišnjica od ubojstva Bruna Bušića, intelektualnog i političkog lidera hrvatske emigracije, borca za samostalnost Hrvatske, književnika, povijesnog istraživača, novinara i polemičara.

Ante Bruno Bušić je rođen 6. listopada 1939. godine u Vinjanima Donjim kraj Imotskoga, u zaseoku Bušića Draga, a za vrijeme gimnazijskog školovanja došao je pod prismotru Udbe zbog anonimne ankete u kojoj je kritizirao komunistički režim u Jugoslaviji. Već 1955. dvaput je bio zatvoren, a priključio se i Tajnoj organizaciji hrvatske inteligencije čiji su članovi bili imotski gimnazijalci.

Premda odličan učenik u svim predmetima i godinama školovanja, kao maturant 1957. izbačen je iz gimnazije bez prava upisa u bilo kojoj gimnaziji u Jugoslaviji a za dvije godine nastavio je školovanje u Splitu. Započeo je studij filozofije i francuskog jezika na Filozofskom fakultetu u Zagrebu, no na očevo inzistiranje upisao se na Ekonomski fakultet te diplomirao 1964. godine.

Nakon završetka studija Bušić se zapošljava u poduzeću za geološko-rudarska i građevinska istraživanja od kojeg je zadnje godine studija dobivao stipendiju. No u lipnju 1965. godine dr. Franjo Tuđman zapošljava ga u Institutu za historiju radničkog pokreta.

Sredinom 1965. godine Bušić je bio zatvoren a početkom 1966. godine osuđen je na deset mjeseci zatvora zbog čitanja emigrantskoga tiska i 'neprijateljske propagande'. Do pravomoćnosti presude pušten jena slobodu i bježi u Austriju, no na Tuđmanov nagovor vraća se prosincu 1966. kada dolazi do pada Aleksandra Rankovića. Postaje urednik Hrvatskog književnoga lista, a nakon gašenja tog časopisa krajem 1969. godine odlazi u Pariz do travnja 1971. godine kada se vraća u Zagreb, gdje se zapošljava u Hrvatskom tjedniku, gdje postaje član uredništva.

Nakon sloma Hrvatskog proljeća Bušić je bio zatvoren 12. prosinca 1971. godine, te optužen zbog 'veza sa zapadnim obavještajnim službama i članaka u kojima se deklarirao kao protivnik društvenog i političkog uređenja.' Na suđenju u jesen 1972. godine osuđen je na dvije godine zatvora u Staroj Gradiški. Iz zatvora izašao je u prosincu 1973. a krajem 1974. 'petnaestorica nepoznatih' pretukli su ga na dubrovačkom Stradunu.

Krajem rujna 1975. godine napustio je ilegalno SFRJ te u Engleskoj, u Londonu, dobiva politički azil i dobiva posao u uredništvu časopisa Nova Hrvatska. Na izborima za drugi Sabor Hrvatskoga narodnoga vijeća 1977. godine izabran je na čelo Ureda za propagandu. Na proputovanju kroz Pariz gdje se pripremao sastanak Izvršnoga i Saborskoga odbora HNV-a, ubijen je u atentatu 16. listopada 1978. u 23.20 sati u ulici Belleville; iz zasjede su ga pogodila dva metka iz pištolja "Astra". Pokopan je godine na pariškome groblju Père-Lachaise a na nadgrobnoj ploči bili su uklesani stihovi Dobriše Cesarića iz pjesme "Trubač sa Seine"

Njegovi posmrtni ostaci preneseni su u Hrvatsku i 16. listopada 1999. godine pokopani u Aleji branitelja na Mirogoju, a pokopu je nazočio i tada već vrlo bolestan hrvatski predsjednik Franjo Tuđman.

Godinu dana kasnije Vinko Sindičić, osumnjičen za atentat, na suđenju u Zagrebu oslobođen je optužbe za Bušićevo ubojstvo, pa je Bušićevo umorstvo koje je organizirala jugoslavenska tajna služba ostalo nerazriješeno.

Navršila se 43. godišnjica od ubojstva Bruna Bušića, intelektualnog i političkog lidera hrvatske emigracije, borca za samostalnost Hrvatske, književnika, povijesnog istraživača, novinara i polemičara.

Ante Bruno Bušić je rođen 6. listopada 1939. godine u Vinjanima Donjim kraj Imotskoga, u zaseoku Bušića Draga, a za vrijeme gimnazijskog školovanja došao je pod prismotru Udbe zbog anonimne ankete u kojoj je kritizirao komunistički režim u Jugoslaviji. Već 1955. dvaput je bio zatvoren, a priključio se i Tajnoj organizaciji hrvatske inteligencije čiji su članovi bili imotski gimnazijalci.

Premda odličan učenik u svim predmetima i godinama školovanja, kao maturant 1957. izbačen je iz gimnazije bez prava upisa u bilo kojoj gimnaziji u Jugoslaviji a za dvije godine nastavio je školovanje u Splitu. Započeo je studij filozofije i francuskog jezika na Filozofskom fakultetu u Zagrebu, no na očevo inzistiranje upisao se na Ekonomski fakultet te diplomirao 1964. godine.

Nakon završetka studija Bušić se zapošljava u poduzeću za geološko-rudarska i građevinska istraživanja od kojeg je zadnje godine studija dobivao stipendiju. No u lipnju 1965. godine dr. Franjo Tuđman zapošljava ga u Institutu za historiju radničkog pokreta.

Sredinom 1965. godine Bušić je bio zatvoren a početkom 1966. godine osuđen je na deset mjeseci zatvora zbog čitanja emigrantskoga tiska i 'neprijateljske propagande'. Do pravomoćnosti presude pušten jena slobodu i bježi u Austriju, no na Tuđmanov nagovor vraća se prosincu 1966. kada dolazi do pada Aleksandra Rankovića. Postaje urednik Hrvatskog književnoga lista, a nakon gašenja tog časopisa krajem 1969. godine odlazi u Pariz do travnja 1971. godine kada se vraća u Zagreb, gdje se zapošljava u Hrvatskom tjedniku, gdje postaje član uredništva.

Nakon sloma Hrvatskog proljeća Bušić je bio zatvoren 12. prosinca 1971. godine, te optužen zbog 'veza sa zapadnim obavještajnim službama i članaka u kojima se deklarirao kao protivnik društvenog i političkog uređenja.' Na suđenju u jesen 1972. godine osuđen je na dvije godine zatvora u Staroj Gradiški. Iz zatvora izašao je u prosincu 1973. a krajem 1974. 'petnaestorica nepoznatih' pretukli su ga na dubrovačkom Stradunu.

Krajem rujna 1975. godine napustio je ilegalno SFRJ te u Engleskoj, u Londonu, dobiva politički azil i dobiva posao u uredništvu časopisa Nova Hrvatska. Na izborima za drugi Sabor Hrvatskoga narodnoga vijeća 1977. godine izabran je na čelo Ureda za propagandu. Na proputovanju kroz Pariz gdje se pripremao sastanak Izvršnoga i Saborskoga odbora HNV-a, ubijen je u atentatu 16. listopada 1978. u 23.20 sati u ulici Belleville; iz zasjede su ga pogodila dva metka iz pištolja "Astra". Pokopan je godine na pariškome groblju Père-Lachaise a na nadgrobnoj ploči bili su uklesani stihovi Dobriše Cesarića iz pjesme "Trubač sa Seine"

Njegovi posmrtni ostaci preneseni su u Hrvatsku i 16. listopada 1999. godine pokopani u Aleji branitelja na Mirogoju, a pokopu je nazočio i tada već vrlo bolestan hrvatski predsjednik Franjo Tuđman.

Godinu dana kasnije Vinko Sindičić, osumnjičen za atentat, na suđenju u Zagrebu oslobođen je optužbe za Bušićevo ubojstvo, pa je Bušićevo umorstvo koje je organizirala jugoslavenska tajna služba ostalo nerazriješeno.

Prošle su 43 godine od ubojstva Bruna Bušića, ubojice nikad nisu pronađeni. Još kao gimnazijalac došao je pod prismotru Udbe, ‘78. su ga iz zasjede pogodila dva metka...

Navršila se 43. godišnjica od ubojstva Bruna Bušića, intelektualnog i političkog lidera hrvatske emigracije, borca za samostalnost Hrvatske, književnika, povijesnog istraživača, novinara i polemičara.

Ante Bruno Bušić je rođen 6. listopada 1939. godine u Vinjanima Donjim kraj Imotskoga, u zaseoku Bušića Draga, a za vrijeme gimnazijskog školovanja došao je pod prismotru Udbe zbog anonimne ankete u kojoj je kritizirao komunistički režim u Jugoslaviji. Već 1955. dvaput je bio zatvoren, a priključio se i Tajnoj organizaciji hrvatske inteligencije čiji su članovi bili imotski gimnazijalci.

Premda odličan učenik u svim predmetima i godinama školovanja, kao maturant 1957. izbačen je iz gimnazije bez prava upisa u bilo kojoj gimnaziji u Jugoslaviji a za dvije godine nastavio...
