Našoj redakciji javio se Splićanin (29) koji je prije godinu dana prebolio koronu, imao je relativno blage simptome. Potom se cijepio s Pfizerom i to s dvije doze.
- Ovih dana osjećao sam se malo skuvano, grlo me još ne boli, ali kao da će početi. Osjećam se malaksalo, pa sam se odlučio testirati. Kao, mislio sam da imam običnu prehladu, ali pošto doma imam baku i obitelj, ipak sam se otišao testirati i kad ono - pozitivan. Dakle, prebolio sam, cijepio se dva puta i opet korona, ostao sam u čudu kako opet i kako sve nanovo. Inače, bolesna mi je cijela ekipa, a čuo sam na 100 strana da su svi bolesni, kišu, šmrcaju, kašlju. A sada je li to omikron... - kaže nam taj Splićanin.
- Nadam se samo da će simptomi biti blagi. Ali srećom sam se cijepio, pa računam da ću lišo proć - zaključuje taj Splićanin.
Ne zna se kojom je varijantom zaražen taj Splićanin, ali valja ponoviti što znamo o omikron soju:
Istraživači su otkrili da omikron donosi oko pet puta veći rizik od reinfekcije u usporedbi s deltom. Prije pojave omikrona preboljenje je u periodu od šest mjeseci od prve zaraze pružalo otprilike 85-postotnu zaštitu od reinfekcije. Pojavom omikrona ta brojka je pala na oko 19 posto.
Najčešći simptomi novog soja koronavirusa omikrona su šmrcanje, glavobolja, kihanje, umor i grlobolja što je znatno bliže znakovima prehlade nego dosadašnjim varijantama covida-19.
Tvrde to britanski znanstvenici i upozoravaju da ljudi trebaju posvetiti veću pažnju upravo tim simptomima kako ih ne bi pripisali samo običnoj prehladi umjesto omikronu. Kažu da je moguće da su se simptomi promijenili zahvaljujući većoj prokuženosti populacije ili pak zbog svojstava te mutacije.
Također se naglašava da se utvrdilo da se omikron deset puta sporije umnožava u plućima u odnosu na prijašnje varijante odnosno da češće ostaje u gornjem dijelu dišnog sustava odnosno u bronhima.
Simptomi covida
Naime, analiza slučajeva korone u Londonu, gdje je u Ujedinjenoj Kraljevini i najviše omikrona, pokazuje da su najčešći znakovi zaraze bili spomenuto curenje iz nosa, glavobolja, umor, kihanje i grlobolja što nisu klasični simptomi covida-19 koji uglavnom dolazi s visokom temperaturom, gubitkom osjeta okusa i mirisa te jakim kašljem.
"Nadamo se da će ljudi prepoznati znakove omikrona te bi osobe trebale svakako ostati kod kuće i ne družiti se s drugima kako ne bi širili bolest", rekao je epidemiolog Tim Spector, voditelj najveće britanske studije za praćenje simptoma covida-19. Preporučuje oprez s obzirom na to da se još uvijek ne mogu s velikom sigurnošću potvrditi informacije da omikron uzrokuje blaži oblik bolesti zato što je izvorno slabiji mutant ili je manje opasan u populaciji koja ima više imuniteta.
Moguće je da su se udružila oba razloga i tako utjecala na smanjenje opasnosti, kažu znanstvenici. Ipak, ostaje činjenica da se omikron 70 puta brže umnožava nego delta i to u gornjim dišnim putovima pa je to vjerojatno razlog njegova brzog širenja u populaciji. Veće virusno opterećenje bliže grlu znači da će ljudi vjerojatno izdisati i više virusnih čestica, pisao je Jutarnji.

Našoj redakciji javio se Splićanin (29) koji je prije godinu dana prebolio koronu, imao je relativno blage simptome. Potom se cijepio s Pfizerom i to s dvije doze.
- Ovih dana osjećao sam se malo skuvano, grlo me još ne boli, ali kao da će početi. Osjećam se malaksalo, pa sam se odlučio testirati. Kao, mislio sam da imam običnu prehladu, ali pošto doma imam baku i obitelj, ipak sam se otišao testirati i kad ono - pozitivan. Dakle, prebolio sam, cijepio se dva puta i opet korona, ostao sam u čudu kako opet i kako sve nanovo. Inače, bolesna mi je cijela ekipa, a čuo sam na 100 strana da su svi bolesni, kišu, šmrcaju, kašlju. A sada je li to omikron... - kaže nam taj Splićanin.
- Nadam se samo da će simptomi biti blagi. Ali srećom sam se cijepio, pa računam da ću lišo proć - zaključuje taj Splićanin.
Ne zna se kojom je varijantom zaražen taj Splićanin, ali valja ponoviti što znamo o omikron soju:
Istraživači su otkrili da omikron donosi oko pet puta veći rizik od reinfekcije u usporedbi s deltom. Prije pojave omikrona preboljenje je u periodu od šest mjeseci od prve zaraze pružalo otprilike 85-postotnu zaštitu od reinfekcije. Pojavom omikrona ta brojka je pala na oko 19 posto.
Najčešći simptomi novog soja koronavirusa omikrona su šmrcanje, glavobolja, kihanje, umor i grlobolja što je znatno bliže znakovima prehlade nego dosadašnjim varijantama covida-19.
Tvrde to britanski znanstvenici i upozoravaju da ljudi trebaju posvetiti veću pažnju upravo tim simptomima kako ih ne bi pripisali samo običnoj prehladi umjesto omikronu. Kažu da je moguće da su se simptomi promijenili zahvaljujući većoj prokuženosti populacije ili pak zbog svojstava te mutacije.
Također se naglašava da se utvrdilo da se omikron deset puta sporije umnožava u plućima u odnosu na prijašnje varijante odnosno da češće ostaje u gornjem dijelu dišnog sustava odnosno u bronhima.
Simptomi covida
Naime, analiza slučajeva korone u Londonu, gdje je u Ujedinjenoj Kraljevini i najviše omikrona, pokazuje da su najčešći znakovi zaraze bili spomenuto curenje iz nosa, glavobolja, umor, kihanje i grlobolja što nisu klasični simptomi covida-19 koji uglavnom dolazi s visokom temperaturom, gubitkom osjeta okusa i mirisa te jakim kašljem.
"Nadamo se da će ljudi prepoznati znakove omikrona te bi osobe trebale svakako ostati kod kuće i ne družiti se s drugima kako ne bi širili bolest", rekao je epidemiolog Tim Spector, voditelj najveće britanske studije za praćenje simptoma covida-19. Preporučuje oprez s obzirom na to da se još uvijek ne mogu s velikom sigurnošću potvrditi informacije da omikron uzrokuje blaži oblik bolesti zato što je izvorno slabiji mutant ili je manje opasan u populaciji koja ima više imuniteta.
Moguće je da su se udružila oba razloga i tako utjecala na smanjenje opasnosti, kažu znanstvenici. Ipak, ostaje činjenica da se omikron 70 puta brže umnožava nego delta i to u gornjim dišnim putovima pa je to vjerojatno razlog njegova brzog širenja u populaciji. Veće virusno opterećenje bliže grlu znači da će ljudi vjerojatno izdisati i više virusnih čestica, pisao je Jutarnji.
