Studenti FESB-a imali su priliku sudjelovati na natjecanju MotoStudent koje se održalo na povijesnoj MotoGP stazi u Aragonu u Španjolskoj.
Na međunarodnom MotoStudent natjecanju, od 10. do 15. listopada, tim "FESB Racing" sa Sveučilišta u Splitu ostvario je izvanredan uspjeh. Ovo natjecanje okuplja studente inženjeringa iz cijelog svijeta, te iako "izvana" izgleda da traje par dana zapravo traje dosta dulje, a pazi se na sve, do najsitnijih detalja. Cijeli projekt traje tri semestra, u kojima studenti marljivo istražuju, dizajniraju i testiraju vlastiti motocikl.
Na natjecanju se ocjenjuje u različitim kategorijama, ali zapravo počinje kada i proizvodnja i istraživanje, jer se i dokumentacija koja se skuplja u tim procesima, također, prije samog natjecanja dostavlja na ocjenjivanje. Na natjecanju se ocjenjuju različite kategorije, uključujući performanse, sigurnost, pouzdanost, inovativnost i ekonomičnost vozila, a natjecanje se sastoji od statičkog i dinamičkog dijela.
Vrhunac cijelog truda je utrka na stazi u Španjolskoj, gdje se njihov motocikl natječe s projektima iz različitih zemalja, točnije 80 timova iz 19 zemalja.

Motocikl koji je koristio "FESB Racing" tim, poznat kao "FRM4", morao se pridržavati strogo definiranih pravila, poput minimalne masu od 95 kg, koju je postigao, te je bio lakši od svih svojih prethodnika, čime je dobio bolje performanse. Sadrži motor od 250 cm3 i postiže maksimalnu brzinu od 214 kilometara na sat
Prva dva dana, provodila su se sigurnosna testiranja motora, koje je tim rutinski prošao, uz pohvale testnog vozača, koji treba "isprobati" motor prije nego vozač tima krene u osvajanje željenih pozicija na vrhu tablice u dinamičkom dijelu.
Senzacija
Jedno od velikih postignuća bilo je osvajanje senzacionalnog prvog mjesta u ubrzanju u kategoriji motora s unutarnjim izgaranjem, postavljajući se time na tron, iznad bogatijih i iskusnijih timova iz najrazvijenijih dijelova Europe.

Na kraju dana nakon ostalih disciplina, tim se našao na velikom, brončanom 3. mjestu.
Izrada stražnje vilice i nosive konstrukcije sjedala posebno se dojmila sucima na prezentaciji statičkog dijela, gdje se ocjenjuje prezentacija i rad na različitim dijelovima vozila, te je "FESB Racing" tim nagradila prvim mjestom u "MS1 Finals".
Mnogima najzanimljiviji dio će biti sama utrka, gdje vozači iz svakog tima jure na jednoj od najpoznatijih staza. Nažalost, vozač "FESB Racing" tima je imao nezgodu, zbog loše procjene je pao, te se nije uspio kvalificirati za glavnu utrku.
Nitko nije ozbiljno ozlijeđen, a tim je, unatoč svemu, postigao zavidno 14. mjesto.
Ovaj uspjeh potvrđuje sposobnost studenata sa Sveučilišta u Splitu da se natječu s kolegama sa svjetskih sveučilišta, dokazujući svoju stručnost i inovativnost u području motocikala. Tim nastavlja s testiranjem i razvojem budućih motocikala kako bi nastavili poboljšavati svoje dosege i pomicati granice.

Studenti FESB-a imali su priliku sudjelovati na natjecanju MotoStudent koje se održalo na povijesnoj MotoGP stazi u Aragonu u Španjolskoj.
Na međunarodnom MotoStudent natjecanju, od 10. do 15. listopada, tim "FESB Racing" sa Sveučilišta u Splitu ostvario je izvanredan uspjeh. Ovo natjecanje okuplja studente inženjeringa iz cijelog svijeta, te iako "izvana" izgleda da traje par dana zapravo traje dosta dulje, a pazi se na sve, do najsitnijih detalja. Cijeli projekt traje tri semestra, u kojima studenti marljivo istražuju, dizajniraju i testiraju vlastiti motocikl.
Na natjecanju se ocjenjuje u različitim kategorijama, ali zapravo počinje kada i proizvodnja i istraživanje, jer se i dokumentacija koja se skuplja u tim procesima, također, prije samog natjecanja dostavlja na ocjenjivanje. Na natjecanju se ocjenjuju različite kategorije, uključujući performanse, sigurnost, pouzdanost, inovativnost i ekonomičnost vozila, a natjecanje se sastoji od statičkog i dinamičkog dijela.
Vrhunac cijelog truda je utrka na stazi u Španjolskoj, gdje se njihov motocikl natječe s projektima iz različitih zemalja, točnije 80 timova iz 19 zemalja.

Motocikl koji je koristio "FESB Racing" tim, poznat kao "FRM4", morao se pridržavati strogo definiranih pravila, poput minimalne masu od 95 kg, koju je postigao, te je bio lakši od svih svojih prethodnika, čime je dobio bolje performanse. Sadrži motor od 250 cm3 i postiže maksimalnu brzinu od 214 kilometara na sat
Prva dva dana, provodila su se sigurnosna testiranja motora, koje je tim rutinski prošao, uz pohvale testnog vozača, koji treba "isprobati" motor prije nego vozač tima krene u osvajanje željenih pozicija na vrhu tablice u dinamičkom dijelu.
Senzacija
Jedno od velikih postignuća bilo je osvajanje senzacionalnog prvog mjesta u ubrzanju u kategoriji motora s unutarnjim izgaranjem, postavljajući se time na tron, iznad bogatijih i iskusnijih timova iz najrazvijenijih dijelova Europe.

Na kraju dana nakon ostalih disciplina, tim se našao na velikom, brončanom 3. mjestu.
Izrada stražnje vilice i nosive konstrukcije sjedala posebno se dojmila sucima na prezentaciji statičkog dijela, gdje se ocjenjuje prezentacija i rad na različitim dijelovima vozila, te je "FESB Racing" tim nagradila prvim mjestom u "MS1 Finals".
Mnogima najzanimljiviji dio će biti sama utrka, gdje vozači iz svakog tima jure na jednoj od najpoznatijih staza. Nažalost, vozač "FESB Racing" tima je imao nezgodu, zbog loše procjene je pao, te se nije uspio kvalificirati za glavnu utrku.
Nitko nije ozbiljno ozlijeđen, a tim je, unatoč svemu, postigao zavidno 14. mjesto.
Ovaj uspjeh potvrđuje sposobnost studenata sa Sveučilišta u Splitu da se natječu s kolegama sa svjetskih sveučilišta, dokazujući svoju stručnost i inovativnost u području motocikala. Tim nastavlja s testiranjem i razvojem budućih motocikala kako bi nastavili poboljšavati svoje dosege i pomicati granice.
