Kriptovalute, koje su imale zvjezdani uspjeh veći dio godine, počele su pokazivati znakove usporavanja otkako je većina njih dosegla nove vrhunce početkom studenog. Pred nezgodan pad je sentiment investitora i dalje bio da su tržišta zastala samo kako bi predahnula nakon snažnog rasta. Tri su osnovna razloga zašto su burze, ne samo kriptovaluta, prošli tjedan imala gadan sunovrat.
Prvi je očekivanje povećanja kamatnih stopa, koje je Fed potaknuo objavom zabrinutosti zbog inflacije koja se otima kontroli. U okruženju rastućih kamatnih stopa, špekulativna imovina kao što su kriptovalute gubi svoju privlačnost. Drugi je omikron, čije je otkriće stiglo kao gadno iznenađenje, a njegova prijetnja unosi valove neizvjesnosti u gospodarski oporavak nakon pandemije.
Treći je, kao i obično, trgovanje s polugom. Kriptovalute su i inače sklonije iznimnoj volatilnosti zbog niza čimbenika, uključujući manji volumen trgovanja ili manjak regulacije. Ipak, trgovanje derivatima kriptovaluta dodatno pridonosi ovome. Derivati tj. opcije i futuresi su, na neki način, kopije coinova koje trgovac zapravo ne posjeduje, već posuđuje na burzi. Ovako je moguće, a uz pomoć poluge, odabrati multiplikator (1,1 do 120) kojim se množi postotna promjena u cijeni vrijednosnice na koju se kladi, tako otvarajući prostor za puno veću dobit.

Ipak, trgovanje uz maržu dolazi s maksimalnim rizikom. Kako se cijena kriptovalute približava određenoj razini, pod prepostavkom da ide u smjeru suprotnom od onoga što je kockar predvidio, pali se alarm za tzv. poziv na marginu. On poručuje da, ukoliko klijent ne doda još novaca u ovu okladu koja je krenula loše, će uskoro biti likvidiran. U prijevodu, ostati će bez svega.
Subotom i nedjeljom ulagači teže mogu prebaciti novac na svoje kriptoračune jer su banke tijekom vikenda zatvorene, pa je mnogima nedostupno refinanciranje poziva na marginu. Stoga, u strahu da će izgubiti sve, počinju prodavati. Jednom kada dođe do pritiska prodaje, pokreće se kaskada likvidacija, zbog čega cijene krenu 'strugati po dnu'. Naravno, isto se može dogoditi u suprotnom smjeru.
Bitcoin je, u razdoblju od 10. studenog do 04. prosinca, u jednom trenutku, izgubio oko 39 posto vrijednosti, strmoglavivši se sa 69.000 na 42.000 dolara. U subotu tijekom noći je, u manje od tri sata, pao 21 posto. Trenutno je njegova cijena oko 51.000 dolara, a mnogi predviđaju da bi, skupa s prenategnutim svjetskim burzama, s kojima je prilično koreliran, mogao pasti i niže u narednim mjesecima.

Ipak, važno je naglasiti da je prije točno godinu dana vrijedio 20.000 dolara te da je, što zbog trajne nestabilnosti financijskog sektora, što zbog blockchain tehnologije u njegovoj pozadini, budućnost Bitcoina te ostalih kriptovaluta i dalje veoma svijetla.

Kriptovalute, koje su imale zvjezdani uspjeh veći dio godine, počele su pokazivati znakove usporavanja otkako je većina njih dosegla nove vrhunce početkom studenog. Pred nezgodan pad je sentiment investitora i dalje bio da su tržišta zastala samo kako bi predahnula nakon snažnog rasta. Tri su osnovna razloga zašto su burze, ne samo kriptovaluta, prošli tjedan imala gadan sunovrat.
Prvi je očekivanje povećanja kamatnih stopa, koje je Fed potaknuo objavom zabrinutosti zbog inflacije koja se otima kontroli. U okruženju rastućih kamatnih stopa, špekulativna imovina kao što su kriptovalute gubi svoju privlačnost. Drugi je omikron, čije je otkriće stiglo kao gadno iznenađenje, a njegova prijetnja unosi valove neizvjesnosti u gospodarski oporavak nakon pandemije.
Treći je, kao i obično, trgovanje s polugom. Kriptovalute su i inače sklonije iznimnoj volatilnosti zbog niza čimbenika, uključujući manji volumen trgovanja ili manjak regulacije. Ipak, trgovanje derivatima kriptovaluta dodatno pridonosi ovome. Derivati tj. opcije i futuresi su, na neki način, kopije coinova koje trgovac zapravo ne posjeduje, već posuđuje na burzi. Ovako je moguće, a uz pomoć poluge, odabrati multiplikator (1,1 do 120) kojim se množi postotna promjena u cijeni vrijednosnice na koju se kladi, tako otvarajući prostor za puno veću dobit.

Ipak, trgovanje uz maržu dolazi s maksimalnim rizikom. Kako se cijena kriptovalute približava određenoj razini, pod prepostavkom da ide u smjeru suprotnom od onoga što je kockar predvidio, pali se alarm za tzv. poziv na marginu. On poručuje da, ukoliko klijent ne doda još novaca u ovu okladu koja je krenula loše, će uskoro biti likvidiran. U prijevodu, ostati će bez svega.
Subotom i nedjeljom ulagači teže mogu prebaciti novac na svoje kriptoračune jer su banke tijekom vikenda zatvorene, pa je mnogima nedostupno refinanciranje poziva na marginu. Stoga, u strahu da će izgubiti sve, počinju prodavati. Jednom kada dođe do pritiska prodaje, pokreće se kaskada likvidacija, zbog čega cijene krenu 'strugati po dnu'. Naravno, isto se može dogoditi u suprotnom smjeru.
Bitcoin je, u razdoblju od 10. studenog do 04. prosinca, u jednom trenutku, izgubio oko 39 posto vrijednosti, strmoglavivši se sa 69.000 na 42.000 dolara. U subotu tijekom noći je, u manje od tri sata, pao 21 posto. Trenutno je njegova cijena oko 51.000 dolara, a mnogi predviđaju da bi, skupa s prenategnutim svjetskim burzama, s kojima je prilično koreliran, mogao pasti i niže u narednim mjesecima.

Ipak, važno je naglasiti da je prije točno godinu dana vrijedio 20.000 dolara te da je, što zbog trajne nestabilnosti financijskog sektora, što zbog blockchain tehnologije u njegovoj pozadini, budućnost Bitcoina te ostalih kriptovaluta i dalje veoma svijetla.
