Najmanje se 77 migranata utopilo blizu Sirije nakon potonuća njihova broda koji je isplovio iz Libanona, rekao je u petak sirijski ministar zdravstva u izjavi o toj nesreći, jednoj od najvećih koje su se zadnjih godina dogodile na polasku iz Libanona.

Ova zemlja sve više postaje polazna točka za ilegalno ukrcavanje migranata otkad ju je 2019. zahvatila teška gospodarska i financijska kriza nastala kao posljedica desetljeća lošeg upravljanja i korupcije političkog vodstva koje se desetljećima gotovo nije mijenjalo.

Sirijska televizija je objavila da je oko 150 ljudi, većinom Libanonci i Sirijci, bilo u brodiću koji je u četvrtak potonuo blizu lučkog grada Tartusa, na zapadu Sirije.

"Sedamdeset sedam ljudi je izgubilo život", rekao je na sirijskoj televiziji ministar zdravstva Hasan al Gabah iz bolnice al Basel u Tartusu, kamo je primljeno 20 preživjelih.

Među spašenima je pet Libanonaca, rekao je ranije za AFP libanonski ministar prometa Ali Hami.

Među žrtvama su palestinski izbjeglice iz kampa Nahr el bared na sjeveru Libanona, rekao je voditelj kampa.

Kako navodi UN, najmanje je 38 plovila s više od 1.500 ljudi ilegalno napustilo ili pokušalo napustiti Libanon morem između siječnja i studenog 2021. godine.

Najmanje se 77 migranata utopilo blizu Sirije nakon potonuća njihova broda koji je isplovio iz Libanona, rekao je u petak sirijski ministar zdravstva u izjavi o toj nesreći, jednoj od najvećih koje su se zadnjih godina dogodile na polasku iz Libanona.

Ova zemlja sve više postaje polazna točka za ilegalno ukrcavanje migranata otkad ju je 2019. zahvatila teška gospodarska i financijska kriza nastala kao posljedica desetljeća lošeg upravljanja i korupcije političkog vodstva koje se desetljećima gotovo nije mijenjalo.

Sirijska televizija je objavila da je oko 150 ljudi, većinom Libanonci i Sirijci, bilo u brodiću koji je u četvrtak potonuo blizu lučkog grada Tartusa, na zapadu Sirije.

"Sedamdeset sedam ljudi je izgubilo život", rekao je na sirijskoj televiziji ministar zdravstva Hasan al Gabah iz bolnice al Basel u Tartusu, kamo je primljeno 20 preživjelih.

Među spašenima je pet Libanonaca, rekao je ranije za AFP libanonski ministar prometa Ali Hami.

Među žrtvama su palestinski izbjeglice iz kampa Nahr el bared na sjeveru Libanona, rekao je voditelj kampa.

Kako navodi UN, najmanje je 38 plovila s više od 1.500 ljudi ilegalno napustilo ili pokušalo napustiti Libanon morem između siječnja i studenog 2021. godine.

Brod pun migranata potonuo nakon havarije ispred sirijske obale: Poginulo najmanje 77 ljudi

Najmanje se 77 migranata utopilo blizu Sirije nakon potonuća njihova broda koji je isplovio iz Libanona, rekao je u petak sirijski ministar zdravstva u izjavi o toj nesreći, jednoj od najvećih koje su se zadnjih godina dogodile na polasku iz Libanona.

Ova zemlja sve više postaje polazna točka za ilegalno ukrcavanje migranata otkad ju je 2019. zahvatila teška gospodarska i financijska kriza nastala kao posljedica desetljeća lošeg upravljanja i korupcije političkog vodstva koje se desetljećima gotovo nije mijenjalo.

Sirijska televizija je objavila da je oko 150 ljudi, većinom Libanonci i Sirijci, bilo u brodiću koji je u četvrtak potonuo blizu lučkog grada Tartusa, na zapadu Sirije.

"Sedamdeset sedam ljudi je izgubilo život", rekao je na sirijskoj televiziji ministar zdravstva Hasan al Gabah iz bolnice al Basel u Tartusu, kamo je primljeno 20 preživjelih.

Među spašenima je pet Libanonaca, rekao je ranije za AFP libanonski ministar prometa Ali Hami.

Među žrtvama su palestinski izbjeglice iz kampa Nahr el bared na sjeveru Libanona, rekao je voditelj kampa.

Kako navodi UN, najmanje je 38 plovila s više od 1.500 ljudi ilegalno napustilo ili pokušalo napustiti Libanon morem između siječnja i studenog 2021. godine.
