Nije dobro poigravati se s temeljnim vrijednostima demokracije. Ona je spora, inzistira na proceduri, može ozbiljno ići na živce, ali sve su to osigurači koji onemogućavaju da se vlast zloporabi.

Trump je obrazac koji upozorava koliko je lagano dovesti u pitanje demokratske standarde. Ali i potvrda koliko su važne institucije, “duboka država”, “elite” o kojima govore i neke stranke u nas. Jer, ta “duboka država” predstavlja “provjere i ravnoteže” koje ne dozvoljavaju Trumpu da promijeni izborna pravila. Putin to čini kad god mu padne na pamet, Xi je to također napravio. A da nitko nije rekao ni riječ - ako i jest, ta se riječ nije čula.

Trump je istodobno potvrda da se politikom moraju baviti ljudi koji su za to obrazovani, koji imaju potrebno znanje. Ili barem neko opće znanje. Jer Trump, uvjeren u svoju bogomdanu genijalnost, nema ali baš nikakvo znanje. Osim sposobnosti manipuliranja masama. Što ga je u konačnici ipak koštalo vlasti.

Ovakav završetak stoga ne čudi. Narcisoidni ignorant nije mogao podnijeti da ga svi napuste, i kad se to dogodilo bio je pripravan na sve. Kakvi zakoni, ustav. Oni NJEGA potkradaju. I taj se potez obratio u njegov konačni pad. Pravi ikarovski, previše se približio suncu, a za to nije bio pripremljen.

Njegova je politička karijera zapečaćena, ali i njegovi planovi za svoju obitelj, za Ivanku koja je u njegovim očima najbolja kandidatkinja za prvu američku predsjednicu. Ništa od toga. Ona šačica bijelih razbijača koja je udarila na Kongres nije biračko tijelo koje bi jamčilo ikakav politički uspjeh.

Svi ostali će na brand “Trump” na političkoj razini gledati kao na izvorište koronavirusa, lokaciju koju treba izbjegavati. Iz poslovnog se bankrota poduzetnik može osoviti na noge, iz političkog se bankrota ovakvog razmjera nije moguće vratiti u život.

Nije dobro poigravati se s temeljnim vrijednostima demokracije. Ona je spora, inzistira na proceduri, može ozbiljno ići na živce, ali sve su to osigurači koji onemogućavaju da se vlast zloporabi.

Kina je, kažu, jako dobro reagirala na izbijanje pandemije. Ne. Peking je pokušavao sakriti ono što je bilo tumačeno kao unutarnji neprijatelj, što je prijetilo svemoći Partije. One koji su o tome pisali i govorili je ušutkala ili strpala u zatvore. A ni danas ne znamo točan broj mrtvih.

Trump je obrazac koji upozorava koliko je lagano dovesti u pitanje demokratske standarde. Ali i potvrda koliko su važne institucije, “duboka država”, “elite” o kojima govore i neke stranke u nas. Jer, ta “duboka država” predstavlja “provjere i ravnoteže” koje ne dozvoljavaju Trumpu da promijeni izborna pravila. Putin to čini kad god mu padne na pamet, Xi je to također napravio. A da nitko nije rekao ni riječ - ako i jest, ta se riječ nije čula.

Trump je istodobno potvrda da se politikom moraju baviti ljudi koji su za to obrazovani, koji imaju potrebno znanje. Ili barem neko opće znanje. Jer Trump, uvjeren u svoju bogomdanu genijalnost, nema ali baš nikakvo znanje. Osim sposobnosti manipuliranja masama. Što ga je u konačnici ipak koštalo vlasti.

Ovakav završetak stoga ne čudi. Narcisoidni ignorant nije mogao podnijeti da ga svi napuste, i kad se to dogodilo bio je pripravan na sve. Kakvi zakoni, ustav. Oni NJEGA potkradaju. I taj se potez obratio u njegov konačni pad. Pravi ikarovski, previše se približio suncu, a za to nije bio pripremljen.

Njegova je politička karijera zapečaćena, ali i njegovi planovi za svoju obitelj, za Ivanku koja je u njegovim očima najbolja kandidatkinja za prvu američku predsjednicu. Ništa od toga. Ona šačica bijelih razbijača koja je udarila na Kongres nije biračko tijelo koje bi jamčilo ikakav politički uspjeh.

Iz poslovnog se bankrota poduzetnik može osoviti na noge, iz političkog se bankrota ovakvog razmjera nije moguće vratiti u život.

Nije dobro poigravati se s temeljnim vrijednostima demokracije. Ona je spora, inzistira na proceduri, može ozbiljno ići na živce, ali sve su to osigurači koji onemogućavaju da se vlast zloporabi.
