Ostaju li Split i Dalmacija bez još jednog gospodarskog brenda nakon objave prelaska Splitske banke pod okrilje OTP banke? Pod sadašnjim imenom Splitska banka preživjela je već dvije promjene vlasnika, ali dosadašnja praksa trećeg vlasnika upućuje na to da će Splitska banka biti "utopljena" u brend OTP-a.
Dok poslovni i politički krugovi u gradu i županiji s kojima smo neslužbeno razgovarali o mogućnosti da Splitska banka promijeni ime izražavaju sumnju u takvu mogućnost, zbog tržišne pozicije i povjerenja štediša koju banka duguje i svom dugogodišnjem identitetu, u OTP banci zasad odbijaju bilo kakav razgovor o budućnosti imena Splitske banke.
– U ovom trenutku ne možemo davati nikakve dodatne izjave osim onoga što je navedeno u jučerašnjem priopćenju. Planiramo konferenciju za novinare za siječanj. Napominjem da je tek potpisan ugovor o kupnji, da se očekuju odobrenja regulatora, da bi se financijska transakcija trebala izvršiti u ljeto 2017. godine, a integracija provesti do ljeta 2018. godine, tako da ćemo imati dovoljno vremena za razgovor o svim dodatnim pitanjima – poručila nam je Daria Mateljak iz agencije za odnose s javnošću "Hauska partner" u ime OTP banke.
Podsjetimo, OTP banka u Hrvatskoj je do sada kupila Dalmatinsku banku Zadar, Dubrovačku, Istarsku i Sisačku banku, koje više ne postoje pod tim imenom. Nabrojene banke prije ulaska u sustav OTP-a ujedinile su se u Novu banku, koja je zatim prešla pod okrilje sadašnjeg vlasnika i promijenila ime.
I Banco Popolare Croatia, koju je OTP preuzeo posljednju prije najnovije akvizicije u Splitskoj banci, pripojena je OTP-u i brisan je njezin dosadašnji naziv. Prema svemu, iz dosadašnje prakse OTP-a očito je kako svoj pretpostavljaju brendovima banaka koje su preuzeli, što je rezon i velike većine drugih banaka koje se u Hrvatskoj šire vlasničkim preuzimanjem.
I u većini drugih zemalja, a OTP posluje u čak osam njih, Mađari su se ponašali na sličan način. Tako su u Srbiji preuzeli Nišku, Zepter i Kulsku banku, koje više ne rade pod tim imenima. U Rumunjskoj su 2004. preuzeli Bancu Commercialu Robank i preimenovali je već iduće godine.
No, ima i iznimaka. U Crnoj Gori preuzeli su prije deset godina najveću banku, Crnogorsku komercijalnu banku, koja i sada radi pod tim imenom, s prepoznatljivim logom u bojama OTP-a. Isto tako, i u Bugarskoj, DSK banka nije mijenjala ime nakon što je 2003. postala dio OTP-a.

Ostaju li Split i Dalmacija bez još jednog gospodarskog brenda nakon objave prelaska Splitske banke pod okrilje OTP banke? Pod sadašnjim imenom Splitska banka preživjela je već dvije promjene vlasnika, ali dosadašnja praksa trećeg vlasnika upućuje na to da će Splitska banka biti "utopljena" u brend OTP-a.
Dok poslovni i politički krugovi u gradu i županiji s kojima smo neslužbeno razgovarali o mogućnosti da Splitska banka promijeni ime izražavaju sumnju u takvu mogućnost, zbog tržišne pozicije i povjerenja štediša koju banka duguje i svom dugogodišnjem identitetu, u OTP banci zasad odbijaju bilo kakav razgovor o budućnosti imena Splitske banke.
– U ovom trenutku ne možemo davati nikakve dodatne izjave osim onoga što je navedeno u jučerašnjem priopćenju. Planiramo konferenciju za novinare za siječanj. Napominjem da je tek potpisan ugovor o kupnji, da se očekuju odobrenja regulatora, da bi se financijska transakcija trebala izvršiti u ljeto 2017. godine, a integracija provesti do ljeta 2018. godine, tako da ćemo imati dovoljno vremena za razgovor o svim dodatnim pitanjima – poručila nam je Daria Mateljak iz agencije za odnose s javnošću "Hauska partner" u ime OTP banke.
Podsjetimo, OTP banka u Hrvatskoj je do sada kupila Dalmatinsku banku Zadar, Dubrovačku, Istarsku i Sisačku banku, koje više ne postoje pod tim imenom. Nabrojene banke prije ulaska u sustav OTP-a ujedinile su se u Novu banku, koja je zatim prešla pod okrilje sadašnjeg vlasnika i promijenila ime.
I Banco Popolare Croatia, koju je OTP preuzeo posljednju prije najnovije akvizicije u Splitskoj banci, pripojena je OTP-u i brisan je njezin dosadašnji naziv. Prema svemu, iz dosadašnje prakse OTP-a očito je kako svoj pretpostavljaju brendovima banaka koje su preuzeli, što je rezon i velike većine drugih banaka koje se u Hrvatskoj šire vlasničkim preuzimanjem.
I u većini drugih zemalja, a OTP posluje u čak osam njih, Mađari su se ponašali na sličan način. Tako su u Srbiji preuzeli Nišku, Zepter i Kulsku banku, koje više ne rade pod tim imenima. U Rumunjskoj su 2004. preuzeli Bancu Commercialu Robank i preimenovali je već iduće godine.
No, ima i iznimaka. U Crnoj Gori preuzeli su prije deset godina najveću banku, Crnogorsku komercijalnu banku, koja i sada radi pod tim imenom, s prepoznatljivim logom u bojama OTP-a. Isto tako, i u Bugarskoj, DSK banka nije mijenjala ime nakon što je 2003. postala dio OTP-a.
