Fotografije koje ovdje objavljujemo snimljene su prije više od pedeset godina. Dakako, Krka sa svojim Skradinskim bukom, Roškim slapom, Visovcem i drugim draguljima prirode bila je poznata i u to vrijeme, a mnogo ranije posjećivale su je čak i okrunjene glave.
Na slapove Krke odlazilo se masovno iz Šibenika za Prvoga svibnja i drugih praznika i blagdana, radi uživanja u divljini prirode, ali i na prave gozbe pečenom janjetinom i netom ulovljenom ribom što se pripremalo u izvrsnome restoranu šibenske Rivijere koga odavna više nema.
Sama rijeka služila je za kupanje pod slapovima ili kao plovni put od Skradina do izletišta i vožnju motornim čamcima i gliserima.
Godine 1962. preko rijeke u Skradinskome buku, šibenski "Vodovod" koji je gospodarski upravljao dijelom rijeke kao izvorom pitke vode, sagradio je drveni most (projektirao ga je inženjer Lipovac), što je u ono vrijeme izazvalo i prosvjede, danas bismo rekli "zelenih".Tako je i turizam zakoračio na obje strane Zelene ljepotice. Pa ipak, i tada su do mosta i sve do slapova šarali brzi čamci, mogući zagađivači. Od njih su pastrve bježale na sve strane.

Na našoj fotografiji vidi se jedan takav prizor, a u dijelu šumovita brda, na njegovu rubu još se nalazio talijanski bunker iz Drugog svjetskog rata.
U to doba na Krku je dolazio ljeti velik broj mladih iz Šibenika i okolnih mjesta radi kupanja.Dio njih izvodio je prave bravure skokovima sa presahnulih sedra u maticu rijeku, što nije prolazilo bez opasnosti. Bilo je i smrtnih slučajeva, osobito onih nesretnika, izletnika i turista koji su željeli oponašati lokalne momke u njihovu umijeću.
Tako se u sezoni godine 1980. pod slapovima utopilo čak sedmoro ljudi, pa je Uprava (tada još parka prirode) ogradila pristup slapovima i zabranila skokove.
No tek je Uprava JU Nacionalni park Krke od prije koju godinu uvela sustavni nadzor i zaštitu cjelovitog toka rijeke Krke od Knina do Skradina. Prepustivši tisućama posjetitelja uživanje u zamamnoj prirodi Zelene ljepotice.

Fotografije koje ovdje objavljujemo snimljene su prije više od pedeset godina. Dakako, Krka sa svojim Skradinskim bukom, Roškim slapom, Visovcem i drugim draguljima prirode bila je poznata i u to vrijeme, a mnogo ranije posjećivale su je čak i okrunjene glave.
Na slapove Krke odlazilo se masovno iz Šibenika za Prvoga svibnja i drugih praznika i blagdana, radi uživanja u divljini prirode, ali i na prave gozbe pečenom janjetinom i netom ulovljenom ribom što se pripremalo u izvrsnome restoranu šibenske Rivijere koga odavna više nema.
Sama rijeka služila je za kupanje pod slapovima ili kao plovni put od Skradina do izletišta i vožnju motornim čamcima i gliserima.
Godine 1962. preko rijeke u Skradinskome buku, šibenski "Vodovod" koji je gospodarski upravljao dijelom rijeke kao izvorom pitke vode, sagradio je drveni most (projektirao ga je inženjer Lipovac), što je u ono vrijeme izazvalo i prosvjede, danas bismo rekli "zelenih".Tako je i turizam zakoračio na obje strane Zelene ljepotice. Pa ipak, i tada su do mosta i sve do slapova šarali brzi čamci, mogući zagađivači. Od njih su pastrve bježale na sve strane.

Na našoj fotografiji vidi se jedan takav prizor, a u dijelu šumovita brda, na njegovu rubu još se nalazio talijanski bunker iz Drugog svjetskog rata.
U to doba na Krku je dolazio ljeti velik broj mladih iz Šibenika i okolnih mjesta radi kupanja.Dio njih izvodio je prave bravure skokovima sa presahnulih sedra u maticu rijeku, što nije prolazilo bez opasnosti. Bilo je i smrtnih slučajeva, osobito onih nesretnika, izletnika i turista koji su željeli oponašati lokalne momke u njihovu umijeću.
Tako se u sezoni godine 1980. pod slapovima utopilo čak sedmoro ljudi, pa je Uprava (tada još parka prirode) ogradila pristup slapovima i zabranila skokove.
No tek je Uprava JU Nacionalni park Krke od prije koju godinu uvela sustavni nadzor i zaštitu cjelovitog toka rijeke Krke od Knina do Skradina. Prepustivši tisućama posjetitelja uživanje u zamamnoj prirodi Zelene ljepotice.
