Hrvatsko novinarsko društvo (HND) zatražilo je detaljnu istragu i utvrđivanje svih okolnosti smrti novinara portala Index Vladimira Matijanića kojega je prema tvrdnjama njegove životne partnerice hitna pomoć odbila hospitalizirati.
"Sigurni smo da bi kolega Matijanić imao šanse preživjeti u bolnici, samo da je do nje mogao doći", priopćio je u subotu predsjednik HND-a Hrvoje Zovko, zatraživši kažnjavanje odgovornih.

Dodao je kako se ne mogu oteti dojmu da su odgovorni u KBC-u Splitu "itekako zakazali i da je riječ o nesavjesnom postupanju" koje je dovelo do smrti njihovog kolege. 

Matijanićeva životna partnerica i novinarka Indexa, Andrea Topić na Facebooku je objavila kronologiju događaja u kojoj je navela kako ga hitna pomoć nije htjela hospitalizirati, prenio je Zovko.

Dva sata prije smrti ekipa hitne medicinske pomoći objašnjavala mu je kako je riječ o normalnim simptomima covida te da nema potrebe za hospitalizacijom. 

Također, dva dana prije smrti Matijaniću je u bolnici rečeno da je u Hrvatskoj nestašica lijeka za sprječavanje težih posljedica covida, koji se daje pacijentima kao što je on.

U splitskoj su ga bolnici pustili da čeka najmanje dva sata iako im je rekao za Sjögrenov sindrom i intersticijsku bolest pluća te sumnju na još dvije autoimune bolesti, zbog čega se nije mogao cijepiti protiv covida. 

"Ustrajat ćemo u tome da svi u ovom lancu odgovornosti dobiju adekvatne kazne za svoje propuste kako se ovakva tragedija više nikad i nikome ne bi dogodila", rekao je Zovko.

Ministru zdravstva Viliju Berošu poručio je kako HND očekuje brzu i efikasnu istragu te kažnjavanje nesavjesnih ljudi u zdravstvenom sustavu čiji bi posao trebao biti zaštita svakog pacijenta. 

"Ovo nećemo zaboraviti, niti ćemo preko toga prijeći", poručio je Zovko. 

Dubrovačka odvjetnica Viktorija Knežević kazneno je prijavila zdravstvene djelatnike koji su bili u kontaktu s Matijanićem i Topić od 3. do 5. kolovoza zbog nepružanja medicinske pomoći.

Ministar unutarnjih poslova Davor Božinović potvrdio je za portal Index da će policija istraživati okolnosti njegove smrti, dok je ministar Beroš rekao da će slučajem baviti zdravstvena inspekcija.

Hrvatsko novinarsko društvo (HND) zatražilo je detaljnu istragu i utvrđivanje svih okolnosti smrti novinara portala Index Vladimira Matijanića kojega je prema tvrdnjama njegove životne partnerice hitna pomoć odbila hospitalizirati.
"Sigurni smo da bi kolega Matijanić imao šanse preživjeti u bolnici, samo da je do nje mogao doći", priopćio je u subotu predsjednik HND-a Hrvoje Zovko, zatraživši kažnjavanje odgovornih.

Dodao je kako se ne mogu oteti dojmu da su odgovorni u KBC-u Splitu "itekako zakazali i da je riječ o nesavjesnom postupanju" koje je dovelo do smrti njihovog kolege. 

Matijanićeva životna partnerica i novinarka Indexa, Andrea Topić na Facebooku je objavila kronologiju događaja u kojoj je navela kako ga hitna pomoć nije htjela hospitalizirati, prenio je Zovko.

Dva sata prije smrti ekipa hitne medicinske pomoći objašnjavala mu je kako je riječ o normalnim simptomima covida te da nema potrebe za hospitalizacijom. 

Također, dva dana prije smrti Matijaniću je u bolnici rečeno da je u Hrvatskoj nestašica lijeka za sprječavanje težih posljedica covida, koji se daje pacijentima kao što je on.

U splitskoj su ga bolnici pustili da čeka najmanje dva sata iako im je rekao za Sjögrenov sindrom i intersticijsku bolest pluća te sumnju na još dvije autoimune bolesti, zbog čega se nije mogao cijepiti protiv covida. 

"Ustrajat ćemo u tome da svi u ovom lancu odgovornosti dobiju adekvatne kazne za svoje propuste kako se ovakva tragedija više nikad i nikome ne bi dogodila", rekao je Zovko.

Ministru zdravstva Viliju Berošu poručio je kako HND očekuje brzu i efikasnu istragu te kažnjavanje nesavjesnih ljudi u zdravstvenom sustavu čiji bi posao trebao biti zaštita svakog pacijenta. 

"Ovo nećemo zaboraviti, niti ćemo preko toga prijeći", poručio je Zovko. 

Dubrovačka odvjetnica Viktorija Knežević kazneno je prijavila zdravstvene djelatnike koji su bili u kontaktu s Matijanićem i Topić od 3. do 5. kolovoza zbog nepružanja medicinske pomoći.

Ministar unutarnjih poslova Davor Božinović potvrdio je za portal Index da će policija istraživati okolnosti njegove smrti, dok je ministar Beroš rekao da će slučajem baviti zdravstvena inspekcija.

Hrvatsko novinarsko društvo (HND) zatražilo je detaljnu istragu i utvrđivanje svih okolnosti smrti novinara portala Index Vladimira Matijanića

Hrvatsko novinarsko društvo (HND) zatražilo je detaljnu istragu i utvrđivanje svih okolnosti smrti novinara portala Index Vladimira Matijanića kojega je prema tvrdnjama njegove životne partnerice hitna pomoć odbila hospitalizirati.
"Sigurni smo da bi kolega Matijanić imao šanse preživjeti u bolnici, samo da je do nje mogao doći", priopćio je u subotu predsjednik HND-a Hrvoje Zovko, zatraživši kažnjavanje odgovornih.

Dodao je kako se ne mogu oteti dojmu da su odgovorni u KBC-u Splitu "itekako zakazali i da je riječ o nesavjesnom postupanju" koje je dovelo do smrti njihovog kolege. 

Matijanićeva životna partnerica i novinarka Indexa, Andrea Topić na Facebooku je objavila kronologiju događaja u kojoj je navela kako ga hitna pomoć nije htjela hospitalizirati, prenio je Zovko.

Dva sata prije smrti ekipa hitne medicinske pomoći objašnjavala mu je kako je riječ o normalnim simptomima covida te da nema potrebe za hospitalizacijom. 

Također, dva dana prije smrti Matijaniću je u bolnici rečeno da je u Hrvatskoj nestašica lijeka za sprječavanje težih posljedica covida, koji se daje pacijentima kao što je on.

U splitskoj su ga bolnici pustili da čeka najmanje dva sata iako im je rekao za Sjögrenov sindrom i intersticijsku bolest pluća te sumnju na još dvije autoimune bolesti, zbog čega se nije mogao cijepiti protiv covida. 

"Ustrajat ćemo u tome da svi u ovom lancu odgovornosti dobiju adekvatne kazne za svoje propuste kako se ovakva tragedija više nikad i nikome ne bi dogodila", rekao je Zovko.

Ministru zdravstva Viliju Berošu poručio je kako HND očekuje brzu i efikasnu istragu te kažnjavanje nesavjesnih ljudi u zdravstvenom sustavu čiji bi posao trebao biti zaštita svakog pacijenta. 

"Ovo nećemo zaboraviti, niti ćemo preko toga prijeći", poručio je Zovko. 

Dubrovačka odvjetnica Viktorija Knežević kazneno je prijavila zdravstvene djelatnike koji su bili u kontaktu s Matijanićem i Topić od 3. do 5. kolovoza zbog nepružanja medicinske pomoći.

Ministar unutarnjih poslova Davor Božinović potvrdio je za portal Index da će policija istraživati okolnosti njegove smrti, dok je ministar Beroš rekao da će slučajem baviti zdravstvena inspekcija.
