U povodu Dana planeta Zemlje Hrvatsko novinarsko društvo – Zbor novinara za okoliš dodijelilo je nagradu "Velebitska degenija" za najbolje novinarske radove o zaštiti prirode i okoliša objavljene u 2023. godini. Nagrađena je i HTV-ova novinarka Borka Juras Slamić za prilog ‘Ukradena zemlja‘.

‘Kolegica Juras Slamić ukazala je na golem, a opet donekle nepoznat problem devastacije okoliša. Tema nije samo ekološka, nego govori i o tome koliko je pohlepa za osobnim profitom opasna po zajednički prostor u kojem živimo. Obrađena u dvije reportaže, jasno riječju i slikom ukazuje na kriminalne radnje koje kreću otkupom poljoprivrednog zemljišta, čije se plodno tlo potom iskopava i preprodaje, dok se preostale jame zatrpavaju mahom građevinskim otpadom. Priča jasno ukazuje na to da su institucije s time upoznate, ali da sustav još nije adekvatnim i oštrim kaznama obeshrabrio buduće počinitelje. Autorica izborom svojih sugovornika, od poljoprivrednika, odgovornih iz lokalne samouprave, stručnjaka za tlo i zaštitu okoliša do komunalnih redara ukazuje na to da ovo nije problem samo tla, nego i potencijalne ugroze podzemnih voda i okoliša koji je nastajao milijunima godina, a koji je sada postao način lake zarade.

Ova je tema nagrađena ne samo zbog načina pristupa obradi teme i važnosti od javnog interesa, nego i činjenice da bi se problem na koji ukazuje, reakcijom odgovornih, mogao spriječiti i time zaustaviti daljnja devastacija‘, kažu iz HND-a.

- Jako me veseli ova nagrada jer je divno priznanje mom radu, ali me veseli i zbog toga što ponovo stavlja u fokus ovu sveprisutnu problematiku devastacije zemlje. Većina ljudi misli da sa svojom zemljom može raditi što hoće, što, naravno, nije točno. Zemlja, zrak i voda koje sada koristimo moraju ostati čisti za generacije koje dolaze. Ova nagrada poticaj mi je da svojim radom doprinesem tom cilju - kazala je Borka Juras Slamić.

Nagrađeni su još i  Martina Vazdar i Silvija Šeparović za emisija "Slušamo li more?" iz serijala Čuvarkuća radija Yammat FM, kolegica Melita Vrsaljko za serijal o devastaciji Velebitskog kanala objavljen na portalu Faktograf i fotoreporter Goran Šafarek za reportažu "Park prirode Telašćica – Raj za nautičare i ljubitelje prirode" objavljenu u Meridijanima.

U povodu Dana planeta Zemlje Hrvatsko novinarsko društvo – Zbor novinara za okoliš dodijelilo je nagradu "Velebitska degenija" za najbolje novinarske radove o zaštiti prirode i okoliša objavljene u 2023. godini. Nagrađena je i HTV-ova novinarka Borka Juras Slamić za prilog ‘Ukradena zemlja‘.

ŠIbenska novinarka Borka Juras Slamić nagrađena je za prilog "Ukradena zemlja", emisija Plodovi zemlje, HTV.

‘Kolegica Juras Slamić ukazala je na golem, a opet donekle nepoznat problem devastacije okoliša. Tema nije samo ekološka, nego govori i o tome koliko je pohlepa za osobnim profitom opasna po zajednički prostor u kojem živimo. Obrađena u dvije reportaže, jasno riječju i slikom ukazuje na kriminalne radnje koje kreću otkupom poljoprivrednog zemljišta, čije se plodno tlo potom iskopava i preprodaje, dok se preostale jame zatrpavaju mahom građevinskim otpadom. Priča jasno ukazuje na to da su institucije s time upoznate, ali da sustav još nije adekvatnim i oštrim kaznama obeshrabrio buduće počinitelje. Autorica izborom svojih sugovornika, od poljoprivrednika, odgovornih iz lokalne samouprave, stručnjaka za tlo i zaštitu okoliša do komunalnih redara ukazuje na to da ovo nije problem samo tla, nego i potencijalne ugroze podzemnih voda i okoliša koji je nastajao milijunima godina, a koji je sada postao način lake zarade.

Ova je tema nagrađena ne samo zbog načina pristupa obradi teme i važnosti od javnog interesa, nego i činjenice da bi se problem na koji ukazuje, reakcijom odgovornih, mogao spriječiti i time zaustaviti daljnja devastacija‘, kažu iz HND-a.

- Jako me veseli ova nagrada jer je divno priznanje mom radu, ali me veseli i zbog toga što ponovo stavlja u fokus ovu sveprisutnu problematiku devastacije zemlje. Većina ljudi misli da sa svojom zemljom može raditi što hoće, što, naravno, nije točno. Zemlja, zrak i voda koje sada koristimo moraju ostati čisti za generacije koje dolaze. U povodu Dana planeta Zemlje Hrvatsko novinarsko društvo – Zbor novinara za okoliš dodijelilo je nagradu "Velebitska degenija" za najbolje novinarske radove o zaštiti prirode i okoliša objavljene u 2023. godini. Nagrađena je i HTV-ova novinarka Borka Juras Slamić za prilog ‘Ukradena zemlja‘.

ŠIbenska novinarka Borka Juras Slamić nagrađena je za prilog "Ukradena zemlja", emisija Plodovi zemlje, HTV.

‘Kolegica Juras Slamić ukazala je na golem, a opet donekle nepoznat problem devastacije okoliša. Tema nije samo ekološka, nego govori i o tome koliko je pohlepa za osobnim profitom opasna po zajednički prostor u kojem živimo. Obrađena u dvije reportaže, jasno riječju i slikom ukazuje na kriminalne radnje koje kreću otkupom poljoprivrednog zemljišta, čije se plodno tlo potom iskopava i preprodaje, dok se preostale jame zatrpavaju mahom građevinskim otpadom. Priča jasno ukazuje na to da su institucije s time upoznate, ali da sustav još nije adekvatnim i oštrim kaznama obeshrabrio buduće počinitelje. Autorica izborom svojih sugovornika, od poljoprivrednika, odgovornih iz lokalne samouprave, stručnjaka za tlo i zaštitu okoliša do komunalnih redara ukazuje na to da ovo nije problem samo tla, nego i potencijalne ugroze podzemnih voda i okoliša koji je nastajao milijunima godina, a koji je sada postao način lake zarade.

Ova je tema nagrađena ne samo zbog načina pristupa obradi teme i važnosti od javnog interesa, nego i činjenice da bi se problem na koji ukazuje, reakcijom odgovornih, mogao spriječiti i time zaustaviti daljnja devastacija‘, kažu iz HND-a.

- Jako me veseli ova nagrada jer je divno priznanje mom radu, ali me veseli i zbog toga što ponovo stavlja u fokus ovu sveprisutnu problematiku devastacije zemlje. Većina ljudi misli da sa svojom zemljom može raditi što hoće, što, naravno, nije točno. Zemlja, zrak i voda koje sada koristimo moraju ostati čisti za generacije koje dolaze. Ova nagrada poticaj mi je da svojim radom doprinesem tom cilju - kazala je Borka Juras Slamić.
