Nema medija koji ovih dana ne traži izjavu, komentar ili intervju s Ivicom Tuckom. Šibenčanin, izbornik hrvatskih vaterpolista gostovao je u Studiju 4 HRT-a kod Petra Vlahova, a kao komentator gost je bio i šibenski sportski novinar Ivo Mikuličin.

Tema je naravno bila, osvajanje zlata na Svjetskom vaterpolskom prvenstvu, ali i dočeci našim vaterpolistima. 

- Malo sam umoran, iza mene su naporni dani, utakmice i sve što se događalo u Dohi. Potom i proslava u krugu reprezentativaca, krugu obitelji, prijatelja, simpatizera. Ganut sam bio dočekom na svojem Šubićevcu, baš me iznenadilo. Nisam znao da će to biti, ulazim u kvart, vidim ljude, baklje. Zahvaljujem se svim susjedima koji žive sa mnom u kvartu, zadnjih 15, 16 godina, rekao je izbornik Ivica Tucak.

Kaže da česti osmjesi koji prije nisu bili, da priznaje da mu je pao kamen sa srca. 

- Ja sam potpuno, 100 posto unutra, ne znam drugačije funkcionirati. Onoga dana kada me to više ne bude dodirivalo, tada više neću obnašati funkciju trenera, izbornika. Za mene je to "sveta funkcija", hvala Bogu što smo postigli vrhunske rezultate, vjerujem da na tome nećemo stati, da imamo snage i "špirita" da budemo još bolji. Najviše sam ponosan na snagu, volju i odličnost koji su nas odveli do svjetskog zlata. 

- Mi imamo uspjehe u sportovima gdje se ne mijenjaju izbornici, a posrćemo u rukometu i košarci, nismo ih zaboravili igrati, ali nemamo takve ljude kao što su Zlatko Dalić i Ivica Tucak, rekao je Ivo Mikuličin.

- Za mene je Tucak vaterpolski Jean-Paul Belmondo, nije lijep, ali ima šarma na pretek. Nije završio filozofiju i nije odvjetnik, a elokventan je. Nema kao neki drugi takvu karizmu, ali ima puno više uspjeha, trenutačno je najbolji taktičar među svjetskim vaterpolskim trenerima, dodaje Mikuličin. 

Govoreći o primanjima vaterpolista jer zlatne Barakude neće nešto puno profitirati od ovoga uspjeha, Tucak kaže da se mora poslužiti onom starom, otrcanom, "nije u šoldima sve".

- Mi se ne možemo uspoređivati s nogometom, ali moram reći da su ovo predivni momci. Oni su jedan spoj mladosti i iskustva, spoj različitosti, a opet istih ljudi, rekao je Ivica Tucak za HRT.

Kako motivirati igrače da tjednima pa i mjesecima budu u strogom režimu?

- To je možda i najteži dio svakog izborničkog posla. Ne pričamo trenerskom poslu u klubu, to je potpuno različita funkcija. Mora se napraviti da oni uživaju u tome, iako je to jako teško. Zlatko Dalić je rekao da ne može Modrića ili Perišića naučiti nogometu, tako niti ja ne mogu učiti Lorena Fatovića neke stvari koje će napraviti u bazenu. Ali mogu i moram napraviti sve da se ti momci osjećaju dobro na pripremama koje su teške, da uživaju u radu sa mnom i ja s njima. Naravno da mora postojati red i kult reprezentacije, koji ne dam nikome da ruši.

Nema medija koji ovih dana ne traži izjavu, komentar ili intervju s Ivicom Tuckom. Šibenčanin, izbornik hrvatskih vaterpolista gostovao je u Studiju 4 HRT-a kod Petra Vlahova, a kao komentator gost je bio i šibenski sportski novinar Ivo Mikuličin.

Tema je naravno bila, osvajanje zlata na Svjetskom vaterpolskom prvenstvu, ali i dočeci našim vaterpolistima. 

- Malo sam umoran, iza mene su naporni dani, utakmice i sve što se događalo u Dohi. Potom i proslava u krugu reprezentativaca, krugu obitelji, prijatelja, simpatizera. Ganut sam bio dočekom na svojem Šubićevcu, baš me iznenadilo. Nisam znao da će to biti, ulazim u kvart, vidim ljude, baklje. Zahvaljujem se svim susjedima koji žive sa mnom u kvartu, zadnjih 15, 16 godina, rekao je izbornik Ivica Tucak.

Kaže da česti osmjesi koji prije nisu bili, da priznaje da mu je pao kamen sa srca. 

- Ja sam potpuno, 100 posto unutra, ne znam drugačije funkcionirati. Onoga dana kada me to više ne bude dodirivalo, tada više neću obnašati funkciju trenera, izbornika. Za mene je to "sveta funkcija", hvala Bogu što smo postigli vrhunske rezultate, vjerujem da na tome nećemo stati, da imamo snage i "špirita" da budemo još bolji. Najviše sam ponosan na snagu, volju i odličnost koji su nas odveli do svjetskog zlata. 

- Mi imamo uspjehe u sportovima gdje se ne mijenjaju izbornici, a posrćemo u rukometu i košarci, nismo ih zaboravili igrati, ali nemamo takve ljude kao što su Zlatko Dalić i Ivica Tucak, rekao je Ivo Mikuličin.

- Za mene je Tucak vaterpolski Jean-Paul Belmondo, nije lijep, ali ima šarma na pretek. Nije završio filozofiju i nije odvjetnik, a elokventan je. Nema kao neki drugi takvu karizmu, ali ima puno više uspjeha, trenutačno je najbolji taktičar među svjetskim vaterpolskim trenerima, dodaje Mikuličin. 

Govoreći o primanjima vaterpolista jer zlatne Barakude neće nešto puno profitirati od ovoga uspjeha, Tucak kaže da se mora poslužiti onom starom, otrcanom, "nije u šoldima sve".

- Mi se ne možemo uspoređivati s nogometom, ali moram reći da su ovo predivni momci. Oni su jedan spoj mladosti i iskustva, spoj različitosti, a opet istih ljudi, rekao je Ivica Tucak za HRT.

Kako motivirati igrače da tjednima pa i mjesecima budu u strogom režimu?

- To je možda i najteži dio svakog izborničkog posla. Ne pričamo trenerskom poslu u klubu, to je potpuno različita funkcija. Mora se napraviti da oni uživaju u tome, iako je to jako teško. Zlatko Dalić je rekao da ne može Modrića ili Perišića naučiti nogometu, tako niti ja ne mogu učiti Lorena Fatovića neke stvari koje će napraviti u bazenu. Ali mogu i moram napraviti sve da se ti momci osjećaju dobro na pripremama koje su teške, da uživaju u radu sa mnom i ja s njima. Naravno da mora postojati red i kult reprezentacije, koji ne dam nikome da ruši.

Nema medija koji ovih dana ne traži izjavu, komentar ili intervju s Ivicom Tuckom. Šibenčanin, izbornik hrvatskih vaterpolista gostovao je u Studiju 4 HRT-a kod Petra Vlahova, a kao komentator gost je bio i šibenski sportski novinar Ivo Mikuličin.

Tema je naravno bila, osvajanje zlata na Svjetskom vaterpolskom prvenstvu, ali i dočeci našim vaterpolistima. 

- Malo sam umoran, iza mene su naporni dani, utakmice i sve što se događalo u Dohi. Potom i proslava u krugu reprezentativaca, krugu obitelji, prijatelja, simpatizera. Ganut sam bio dočekom na svojem Šubićevcu, baš me iznenadilo. Nisam znao da će to biti, ulazim u kvart, vidim ljude, baklje. Zahvaljujem se svim susjedima koji žive sa mnom u kvartu, zadnjih 15, 16 godina, rekao je izbornik Ivica Tucak.

Kaže da česti osmjesi koji prije nisu bili, da priznaje da mu je pao kamen sa srca. 

- Ja sam potpuno, 100 posto unutra, ne znam drugačije funkcionirati. Onoga dana kada me to više ne bude dodirivalo, tada više neću obnašati funkciju trenera, izbornika.
