Na širokom obalnom prostoru nekadašnje Općine Šibenik i u njezinu zaleđu, građani Krešimirova grada rado su posjećivali brojna izletišta i ljeti i zimi.
Recimo, ljeti otići na Kornate, ili bliže na Zlarin, ili na slapove Krke, a zimi protegnuti do Promine u planinarski dom. Ili još dalje, u snijeg na Dinaru.
Ali u svoj to lepezi lokaliteta, jedan je zauzimao posebno mjesto. Zato što je tamo lakše i jednostavnije doći, ali i zbog atraktivnosti toga podneblja u svako doba godine.
Riječ je o Vranskome jezeru, Rezervatu prirode, koji Šibensko-kninskoj županiji pripada samo manjim dijelom na području Prosike, pet kilometara od Pirovca.
Zemljopisna enigma
Pa sad, kad smo razriješili malu zemljopisnu enigmu, osobito za one koji "lokalitet" pobliže ne poznaju, kažimo što nam to najveće jezero u Hrvatskoj može ponuditi.
Eto, došla je i zima i mogu se očekivati niske temperature. Dobar dio Vranskoga jezera zna se tada zalediti, po njemu se može hodati i klizati.
Našli smo se ondje usred zime 2011. i "šetali" ledenom površinom jezera. Čak smo i sjekirom provjeravali koliko je led debeo. Da ne bismo, ne daj Bože, propali dolje.
Na jezeru se zna naći ribiča i u takvim uvjetima. Love kroz rupe načinjene u ledu. Poznato je da su zaštitari prirode spašavali ribu zarobljenu pod ledom, upravo praveći velike rupe u njemu.
A posebne uživancije se na jezaru kod Prodike događaju ljeti. Ono kad ribolovna društva organiziraju natjecanje u ulovu, uz posebne dozvole što se i čime smije loviti.
Otpao fiš-paprikaš
Bili smo na jednoj takvoj fešti, kad su se na jezeru okupili ribiči iz Dalmacije i Slavonije.
Ulovljeni su kapitalci nekih vrsta, poput štuke, s kojom nam je rado pozirao Slavonac Vinko Jelušić, jedan od pobjednika te vrste "fishinga".
Ali nakon svega, u loncima se nije kuhao ljuti slavonski fiš-paprikaš, već izvrsni domaći brudet "na bjanko".
Porcije su dobili i brojni promatrači izletnici. I zalijevali ga pirovačkim opolom.

Na širokom obalnom prostoru nekadašnje Općine Šibenik i u njezinu zaleđu, građani Krešimirova grada rado su posjećivali brojna izletišta i ljeti i zimi.
Recimo, ljeti otići na Kornate, ili bliže na Zlarin, ili na slapove Krke, a zimi protegnuti do Promine u planinarski dom. Ili još dalje, u snijeg na Dinaru.
Ali u svoj to lepezi lokaliteta, jedan je zauzimao posebno mjesto. Zato što je tamo lakše i jednostavnije doći, ali i zbog atraktivnosti toga podneblja u svako doba godine.
Riječ je o Vranskome jezeru, Rezervatu prirode, koji Šibensko-kninskoj županiji pripada samo manjim dijelom na području Prosike, pet kilometara od Pirovca.
Zemljopisna enigma
Pa sad, kad smo razriješili malu zemljopisnu enigmu, osobito za one koji "lokalitet" pobliže ne poznaju, kažimo što nam to najveće jezero u Hrvatskoj može ponuditi.
Eto, došla je i zima i mogu se očekivati niske temperature. Dobar dio Vranskoga jezera zna se tada zalediti, po njemu se može hodati i klizati.
Našli smo se ondje usred zime 2011. i "šetali" ledenom površinom jezera. Čak smo i sjekirom provjeravali koliko je led debeo. Da ne bismo, ne daj Bože, propali dolje.
Na jezeru se zna naći ribiča i u takvim uvjetima. Love kroz rupe načinjene u ledu. Poznato je da su zaštitari prirode spašavali ribu zarobljenu pod ledom, upravo praveći velike rupe u njemu.
A posebne uživancije se na jezaru kod Prodike događaju ljeti. Ono kad ribolovna društva organiziraju natjecanje u ulovu, uz posebne dozvole što se i čime smije loviti.
Otpao fiš-paprikaš
Bili smo na jednoj takvoj fešti, kad su se na jezeru okupili ribiči iz Dalmacije i Slavonije.
Ulovljeni su kapitalci nekih vrsta, poput štuke, s kojom nam je rado pozirao Slavonac Vinko Jelušić, jedan od pobjednika te vrste "fishinga".
Ali nakon svega, u loncima se nije kuhao ljuti slavonski fiš-paprikaš, već izvrsni domaći brudet "na bjanko".
Porcije su dobili i brojni promatrači izletnici. I zalijevali ga pirovačkim opolom.
