Porsche je zbog smanjenog interesa kupaca i pada prodaje od 27 posto u 2009. godini objavio mogućnost proširivanja svoje Boxster linije jeftinijim modelom koji bi pokretao motor iz Audija TTS.

Pad interesa kupaca u jeku svjetske ekonomske krize, najviše su osjetili Porscheovi Boxster modeli, koji su zabilježili pad prodaje od gotovo 60 posto u prvih pola godine.

Porsche u svoje Boxster modele ugrađuje šestocilindrične boxer motore koji imaju 255 KS, a uvođenjem novih, jeftinijih, Audijevih TTS motora, automobili će dobiti dodatnih 20 KS i nižu cijenu. Najjeftiniji Porsche Boxster košta 55.000 eura, a cijena modela s Audijevim motorom bila bi 47.500 eura.

Rukovodstvo Porschea također razmatra utjecaj ove odluke i na buduću prodaju, budući da se kupcima Boxstera, usprkos nižoj cijeni, možda neće svidjeti ideja da se ispod haube čistokrvnog trkačkog automobila nalazi Audijev motor. Inače, ovo ne bi bio prvi put da Audi i Porsche surađuju na ovaj način.

Porscheov model 924 s kraja sedamdesetih godina prošloga stoljeća, bio je pokretan Audijevim motorom koji je ovisno o tržištu na kojem se prodavao razvijao od 95 do 125 KS. Model 924 bio je jedan od najprodavanijih Porschea.

Porsche je zbog smanjenog interesa kupaca i pada prodaje od 27 posto u 2009. godini objavio mogućnost proširivanja svoje Boxster linije jeftinijim modelom koji bi pokretao motor iz Audija TTS.

Pad interesa kupaca u jeku svjetske ekonomske krize, najviše su osjetili Porscheovi Boxster modeli, koji su zabilježili pad prodaje od gotovo 60 posto u prvih pola godine.

Porsche u svoje Boxster modele ugrađuje šestocilindrične boxer motore koji imaju 255 KS, a uvođenjem novih, jeftinijih, Audijevih TTS motora, automobili će dobiti dodatnih 20 KS i nižu cijenu. Najjeftiniji Porsche Boxster košta 55.000 eura, a cijena modela s Audijevim motorom bila bi 47.500 eura.

Rukovodstvo Porschea također razmatra utjecaj ove odluke i na buduću prodaju, budući da se kupcima Boxstera, usprkos nižoj cijeni, možda neće svidjeti ideja da se ispod haube čistokrvnog trkačkog automobila nalazi Audijev motor. Inače, ovo ne bi bio prvi put da Audi i Porsche surađuju na ovaj način.

Porscheov model 924 s kraja sedamdesetih godina prošloga stoljeća, bio je pokretan Audijevim motorom koji je ovisno o tržištu na kojem se prodavao razvijao od 95 do 125 KS. Model 924 bio je jedan od najprodavanijih Porschea.
