Sušu Portugala na natjecanju za najbolju pjesmu Eurovizije koja je trajala 53 godine - 48 puta su se natjecali, a pet su puta propustili veliko natjecanje - u subotu je u Kijevu prekinuo 27-godišnji Salvador Vilar Braamcamp Sobral s pjesmom 'Amar Pelos Dois' ('Ljubav za dvoje').
Sobral je od svojeg nastupa na prvoj polufinalnoj večeri bio favorit na kladionicama i tu je ulogu opravdao u finalu u kojem je sa 758 bodova odnio pobjedu ispred Kristiana Kostova iz Bugarske i Sunstroke Projecta iz Moldavije.

Prvi portugalski pobjednik Eurosonga studirao je psihologiju u Lisabonu na Višem institutu za primijenjenu psihologiju, međutim njegova je ljubav prema glazbi ipak bila jača pa se odlučio njome u životu aktivno baviti, piše Jutarnji list .
Studirao je jazz u prestižnoj školi Taller de Músics u Barceloni, a dok je živio i studirao u Barceloni, pjevao je i u indie-pop bendu Noko Woi s kojim je nastupio na Sónar Festivalu u glavnom gradu Katalonije.
Kao 20-godišnjak se natjecao u reality showu Ídolos, portugalskoj inačici emisije koja se u Hrvatskoj emitirala pod imenom Hrvatski idol.
U međuvremenu je nastupao i po raznim barovima.
Sobral je u suradnji s Júliom Resendeom i Leonardom Aldreyjom 2016. godine izdao svoj prvi album 'Excuse me'. Nekoliko pjesama na njegovom debitantskom albumu napisala je njegova sestra Luísa Sobral, koja je i autorica pjesme 'Amar Pelos Dois'.
Portugalac za sebe kaže da je velik ljubitelj jazz legende Cheta Bakera.
Sobral, inače, pati od ozbiljnih srčanih tegoba, zbog kojih je morao propustiti prve probe u Kijevu, piše Jutarnji .
Glazba nije vatromet, glazba je osjećaj
Mnogima se Sobralova pobjeda nije činila izglednom jer je riječ o vrlo netipičnom izvođaču i netipičnoj pjesmi za Eurosong. No sve je na koncu osvojio svojim govorom nakon pobjede:
“Ovo je pobjeda glazbe i ljudi koji žive za glazbu. Glazba nije vatromet, glazba je osjećaj”, izjavio je Salvador Sobral dodavši da uspjeh duguje svojoj sestri s kojom je potom i otpjevao pobjedničku pjesmu, prenosi Story .

Sušu Portugala na natjecanju za najbolju pjesmu Eurovizije koja je trajala 53 godine - 48 puta su se natjecali, a pet su puta propustili veliko natjecanje - u subotu je u Kijevu prekinuo 27-godišnji Salvador Vilar Braamcamp Sobral s pjesmom 'Amar Pelos Dois' ('Ljubav za dvoje').
Sobral je od svojeg nastupa na prvoj polufinalnoj večeri bio favorit na kladionicama i tu je ulogu opravdao u finalu u kojem je sa 758 bodova odnio pobjedu ispred Kristiana Kostova iz Bugarske i Sunstroke Projecta iz Moldavije.

Prvi portugalski pobjednik Eurosonga studirao je psihologiju u Lisabonu na Višem institutu za primijenjenu psihologiju, međutim njegova je ljubav prema glazbi ipak bila jača pa se odlučio njome u životu aktivno baviti, piše Jutarnji list .
Studirao je jazz u prestižnoj školi Taller de Músics u Barceloni, a dok je živio i studirao u Barceloni, pjevao je i u indie-pop bendu Noko Woi s kojim je nastupio na Sónar Festivalu u glavnom gradu Katalonije.
Kao 20-godišnjak se natjecao u reality showu Ídolos, portugalskoj inačici emisije koja se u Hrvatskoj emitirala pod imenom Hrvatski idol.
U međuvremenu je nastupao i po raznim barovima.
Sobral je u suradnji s Júliom Resendeom i Leonardom Aldreyjom 2016. godine izdao svoj prvi album 'Excuse me'. Nekoliko pjesama na njegovom debitantskom albumu napisala je njegova sestra Luísa Sobral, koja je i autorica pjesme 'Amar Pelos Dois'.
Portugalac za sebe kaže da je velik ljubitelj jazz legende Cheta Bakera.
Sobral, inače, pati od ozbiljnih srčanih tegoba, zbog kojih je morao propustiti prve probe u Kijevu, piše Jutarnji .
Glazba nije vatromet, glazba je osjećaj
Mnogima se Sobralova pobjeda nije činila izglednom jer je riječ o vrlo netipičnom izvođaču i netipičnoj pjesmi za Eurosong. No sve je na koncu osvojio svojim govorom nakon pobjede:
“Ovo je pobjeda glazbe i ljudi koji žive za glazbu. Glazba nije vatromet, glazba je osjećaj”, izjavio je Salvador Sobral dodavši da uspjeh duguje svojoj sestri s kojom je potom i otpjevao pobjedničku pjesmu, prenosi Story .
