Nešto manje od tri tjedna provela je skupina vrhunskih jedriličara pod kodnim imenom "Jozina banda" u Scheveningenu na poprištu Svjetskog prvenstva svih olimpijskih klasa u drugoj polovici kolovoza. Ne treba posebno napominjati da su dani provedeni u Nizozemskoj bili itekako radni, a zaokruženi su nastupom na regati North Sea 2023, koja je bila kratka (tri dana), ali vrlo intenzivna (deset utrka). 

Pobjedu je odnio Pavlos Kontides, budući hrvatski zet, koji će za dva i pol mjeseca nastojati doći do svoga trećeg naslova svjetskog prvaka, te tako dodatno učvrstiti status najboljeg ciparskog sportaša svih vremena. Drugi je bio Irac Finn Lynch, a potom Mađar Jonatan Vadnai i naš Tonči Stipanović na 4. mjestu. Vadnai, također član „Jozine bande“, imao je jedan negativni bod manje od aktualnog europskog prvaka. Filip Jurišić je regatu završio na 7. mjestu. 

- Regata je bila stvarno zahtjevna, ali je prije svega poslužila svrsi, upoznavanju sa svim regatnim poljima, koja će biti i na Svjetskom prvenstvu. Još jednom ćemo ovoga ljeta otići u Scheveningen, biti tako oko tjedan dana, te još jedan tjedan uoči samog prvenstva. Mislim da će to biti dovoljno. Za ovo sada dao bih pozitivnu ocjenu, zadovoljni smo kako su prošle pripreme – referirao je Stipanović. 

Evo što o svemu misli Jurišić: 

- Polje na kojem će se jedriti Svjetsko prvenstvo ovo ljeto jako je kompleksno, jer uz faktore vjetra i vala, kurenat ima još najveću ulogu i jako je bitno dobro se upoznati s promjenama koje se događaju na moru. Takvih lokacija i uvjeta nemamo doma. 

O značaju Svjetskog prvenstva za naša dva najbolja jedriličara u klasi ILCA 7 već smo pisali. S time počinje njihov interni dvoboj za mjesto na Olimpijskim igrama sljedeće godine, jer samo jedan može ići tamo, a „onako usput“ zadatak im je osigurati vizu za Olimpijske igre. Kako to ni prije nije bio problem u proteklim olimpijskim ciklusima, neće biti ni sada, ali neka se zna. 

- Posljednjih dana smo bili u potrazi za mjestom gdje ćemo trenirati kad dođemo u srpnju, jer jedrenje na regatnom polju Svjetskog prvenstva neće biti dopušteno. Sreća je da nas je u ova gotovo tri tjedna poslužilo vrijeme, svaki dan je bio lijep vjetar od 12 do 20 čvorova i proveli smo doista puno sati na moru – zaključio je Stipanović. 

Nakon kratkog predaha u Splitu, jedriličari će put Marseillea, gdje će slijediti detaljnije upoznavanje s olimpijskim regatnim poljem. U srpnju će tamo Stipanović jedriti na „test eventu“, što je zaslužio boljim rezultatom od Jurišića na regati u Hyeresu u svibnju.

Nešto manje od tri tjedna provela je skupina vrhunskih jedriličara pod kodnim imenom "Jozina banda" u Scheveningenu na poprištu Svjetskog prvenstva svih olimpijskih klasa u drugoj polovici kolovoza. Ne treba posebno napominjati da su dani provedeni u Nizozemskoj bili itekako radni, a zaokruženi su nastupom na regati North Sea 2023, koja je bila kratka (tri dana), ali vrlo intenzivna (deset utrka). 

Pobjedu je odnio Pavlos Kontides, budući hrvatski zet, koji će za dva i pol mjeseca nastojati doći do svoga trećeg naslova svjetskog prvaka, te tako dodatno učvrstiti status najboljeg ciparskog sportaša svih vremena. Drugi je bio Irac Finn Lynch, a potom Mađar Jonatan Vadnai i naš Tonči Stipanović na 4. mjestu. Vadnai, također član „Jozine bande“, imao je jedan negativni bod manje od aktualnog europskog prvaka. Filip Jurišić je regatu završio na 7. mjestu. 

- Regata je bila stvarno zahtjevna, ali je prije svega poslužila svrsi, upoznavanju sa svim regatnim poljima, koja će biti i na Svjetskom prvenstvu. Još jednom ćemo ovoga ljeta otići u Scheveningen, biti tako oko tjedan dana, te još jedan tjedan uoči samog prvenstva. Mislim da će to biti dovoljno. Za ovo sada dao bih pozitivnu ocjenu, zadovoljni smo kako su prošle pripreme – referirao je Stipanović. 

Evo što o svemu misli Jurišić: 

- Polje na kojem će se jedriti Svjetsko prvenstvo ovo ljeto jako je kompleksno, jer uz faktore vjetra i vala, kurenat ima još najveću ulogu i jako je bitno dobro se upoznati s promjenama koje se događaju na moru. Takvih lokacija i uvjeta nemamo doma. 

O značaju Svjetskog prvenstva za naša dva najbolja jedriličara u klasi ILCA 7 već smo pisali. S time počinje njihov interni dvoboj za mjesto na Olimpijskim igrama sljedeće godine, jer samo jedan može ići tamo, a „onako usput“ zadatak im je osigurati vizu za Olimpijske igre. Kako to ni prije nije bio problem u proteklim olimpijskim ciklusima, neće biti ni sada, ali neka se zna. 

- Posljednjih dana smo bili u potrazi za mjestom gdje ćemo trenirati kad dođemo u srpnju, jer jedrenje na regatnom polju Svjetskog prvenstva neće biti dopušteno. Sreća je da nas je u ova gotovo tri tjedna poslužilo vrijeme, svaki dan je bio lijep vjetar od 12 do 20 čvorova i proveli smo doista puno sati na moru – zaključio je Stipanović. 

Nakon kratkog predaha u Splitu, jedriličari će put Marseillea, gdje će slijediti detaljnije upoznavanje s olimpijskim regatnim poljem. U srpnju će tamo Stipanović jedriti na „test eventu“, što je zaslužio boljim rezultatom od Jurišića na regati u Hyeresu u svibnju.

‘jozina banda‘Pripreme za Svjetsko prvenstvo u kolovozu: hrvatskom zetu Pavlosu Kontidesu pobjeda na North Sea Regatti

Nešto manje od tri tjedna provela je skupina vrhunskih jedriličara pod kodnim imenom "Jozina banda" u Scheveningenu na poprištu Svjetskog prvenstva svih olimpijskih klasa u drugoj polovici kolovoza. Ne treba posebno napominjati da su dani provedeni u Nizozemskoj bili itekako radni, a zaokruženi su nastupom na regati North Sea 2023, koja je bila kratka (tri dana), ali vrlo intenzivna (deset utrka). 

Pobjedu je odnio Pavlos Kontides, budući hrvatski zet, koji će za dva i pol mjeseca nastojati doći do svoga trećeg naslova svjetskog prvaka, te tako dodatno učvrstiti status najboljeg ciparskog sportaša svih vremena. Drugi je bio Irac Finn Lynch, a potom Mađar Jonatan Vadnai i naš Tonči Stipanović na 4. mjestu. Vadnai, također član „Jozine bande“, imao je jedan negativni bod manje od aktualnog europskog prvaka. Filip Jurišić je regatu završio na 7. mjestu. 

- Regata je bila stvarno zahtjevna, ali je prije svega poslužila svrsi, upoznavanju sa svim regatnim poljima, koja će biti i na Svjetskom prvenstvu.
