Prošle godine u Splitu je na Blue Hackathonu pobijedio tim #TsunamiFlow o kojem smo pisali. Hackathon je natjecanje mladih inovatora čiji je cilj pronalazak i implementacija društveno korisnih rješenja za dobrobit i napredak naše lokalne zajednice.

Ideja tima TsunamiFlow bila je razviti sustav upozorenja koji bi predviđao ekstremne razine mora, poput meteoroloških tsunamija. Naime, neke tradicionalne metode predviđanja vremenskih neprilika ne obuhvaćaju takve situacije jer je taj proces teško predvidjeti i javlja se samo u posebnim uvjetima.

- Potrebu za razvojem ovakvog sustava prepoznala je i dr. sc. Petra Zemunik Selak, znanstvenica iz Laboratorija za fiziku mora Instituta za oceanografiju i ribarstvo, koja se pridružila ovom timu s ciljem razvijanja prognoze i sustava upozorenja na meteorološke tsunamije te povećanja sigurnosti jadranskih luka.

Kako bi razvili odgovarajući sustav, TsunamiFlow traži vašu pomoć. Potrebno je ispuniti vrlo kratku anketu o ekstremnim razinama mora.

Anketa je namijenjena svim osobama koje žive uz more, ljetuju uz more, posjeduju brodove, pomorcima, skiperima, kapetanima, ribarima, roniocima, jedriličarima...

Prošle godine u Splitu je na Blue Hackathonu pobijedio tim #TsunamiFlow o kojem smo pisali. Hackathon je natjecanje mladih inovatora čiji je cilj pronalazak i implementacija društveno korisnih rješenja za dobrobit i napredak naše lokalne zajednice.

Ideja tima TsunamiFlow bila je razviti sustav upozorenja koji bi predviđao ekstremne razine mora, poput meteoroloških tsunamija. Naime, neke tradicionalne metode predviđanja vremenskih neprilika ne obuhvaćaju takve situacije jer je taj proces teško predvidjeti i javlja se samo u posebnim uvjetima.

- Potrebu za razvojem ovakvog sustava prepoznala je i dr. sc. Petra Zemunik Selak, znanstvenica iz Laboratorija za fiziku mora Instituta za oceanografiju i ribarstvo, koja se pridružila ovom timu s ciljem razvijanja prognoze i sustava upozorenja na meteorološke tsunamije te povećanja sigurnosti jadranskih luka.

Kako bi razvili odgovarajući sustav, TsunamiFlow traži vašu pomoć. Potrebno je ispuniti vrlo kratku anketu o ekstremnim razinama mora.

Anketa je namijenjena svim osobama koje žive uz more, ljetuju uz more, posjeduju brodove, pomorcima, skiperima, kapetanima, ribarima, roniocima, jedriličarima...

Prošle godine u Splitu je na Blue Hackathonu pobijedio tim #TsunamiFlow o kojem smo pisali. Hackathon je natjecanje mladih inovatora čiji je cilj pronalazak i implementacija društveno korisnih rješenja za dobrobit i napredak naše lokalne zajednice.

Ideja tima TsunamiFlow bila je razviti sustav upozorenja koji bi predviđao ekstremne razine mora, poput meteoroloških tsunamija. Naime, neke tradicionalne metode predviđanja vremenskih neprilika ne obuhvaćaju takve situacije jer je taj proces teško predvidjeti i javlja se samo u posebnim uvjetima.

- Potrebu za razvojem ovakvog sustava prepoznala je i dr. sc. Petra Zemunik Selak, znanstvenica iz Laboratorija za fiziku mora Instituta za oceanografiju i ribarstvo, koja se pridružila ovom timu s ciljem razvijanja prognoze i sustava upozorenja na meteorološke tsunamije te povećanja sigurnosti jadranskih luka.

Kako bi razvili odgovarajući sustav, TsunamiFlow traži vašu pomoć. Potrebno je ispuniti vrlo kratku anketu o ekstremnim razinama mora.

Anketa je namijenjena svim osobama koje žive uz more, ljetuju uz more, posjeduju brodove, pomorcima, skiperima, kapetanima, ribarima, roniocima, jedriličarima...
