Španjolac Alejandro Agag je svojevremeno pokrenuo cestovne utrke električnih automobila Formula E, kao i off-road vozila Extreme E. Agag do proljeća 2023. planira pokrenuti utrke električnih plovila u natjecanju E1 Series racing.

On želi da se utrke E1 Marine Racing World Championship, po uzoru na Formulu 1, održavaju po cijelom svijetu u vodom okruženim gradovima kao što su Venecija, Budimpešta, Monako, Sydney, Rio de Janeiro, New York, Hong Kong, London...

Agag je sklopio ugovor o suradnji s Rodijom Bassom, bivšim motorsport direktorom McLarena, pa su osnovali E1 World Championship organizaciju, te okupili tim stručnjaka koji je u samo osam mjeseci rada napravio trkaći brod s pogonom na struju.

Nazvali su ga E1 RaceBird, a u projekt se uključio proizvođač baterija Kreisel, dok je sami brod od karbona napravila kompanija Victory Marine. Basso je također angažirao poznate inženjere koji su ranije radili za McLaren, Ferrari i NASU, s time da im se priključila i Norvežanka Sophi Horne, osnivačica tvrtke SeaBird Technologies.

Upravo je ona odgovorna za dizajn RaceBird Electric Powerboata, a sama ističe kako je inspiraciju dobila od ptica u Švedskoj koje lete, odnosno klize po zraku iznad jezera.

Horne je odlučila da RaceBird ima po dva hidrokrila profila 400 mm sa svake strane kako bi se brod mogao tijekom ubrzanja izdignuti iznad vode i tako smanjiti trenje, odnosno povećati brzinu. Sustav hidrokrila daje brodu jednosjedu dužine sedam metara futuristički izgled, te omogućuje postizanje brzine od 50 čvorova.

Kreiselove baterije kapaciteta 150 kWh daju mu energiju za oko 40 minuta jurnjave po vodi, dok je pogon riješen izvanbrodskom pentom na struju. Za taj dio se pobrinula grupacija Brunswick angažmanom inženjera odjela Mercury Racing koji su kreirali specijalan proizvod.

Iako gornjim dijelom kućišta i formom podsjeća na klasičnu pentu unutra je čisti elektromotor. Najzahtjevniji dio motora je stabilizacijsko krilo na dnu koje preuzima težinu dok brod lebdi iznad površine.

Velika inovacija

Agag želi da trkaći brodovi s pogonom na struju i njihova natjecanja postanu globalno popularni, a RaceBird naziva velikom inovacijom u industriji brodova. Uvjeren je da će električne utrke na vodi postati stvarnost i ujedno biti platforma za za pokretanje tehnoloških inovacija u pomorskoj industriji.

Koncept hidrokrila na električnim motornim brodovima nije nova stvar, slovenski kukcoliki dvosjed Quadrofoil s četiri krila je predstavljen prije desetak godina, a švedska Candela je veliki hit unatoč cijeni od 300 tisuća eura. Može se očekivati kako će s većim prodajnim serijama i cijena biti dostupnija iako realno to može proći samo na bogatim zapadnim tržištima.

Stoga je za svjetsku premijeru RaceBirda odabran Monako gdje je ove jeseni okupljena svjetska jet set krema s nezaobilaznim princom Albertom, a nedavni sajam u Veneciji bio je sajamsko predstavljanje za šire mase.

Prva plovidba je obavljena na rijeci Po kod San Nazzara. Pod budnim okom brojnih novinara električnim karbonskim bolidom težine 880 kg pilotirao je nekadašnji Powerboat World prvak Luca Ferrari.

---Testiranja će se nastaviti idućih tjedana kako bi se dobio što bolji uvid u maritimne sposobnosti u uvjetima utrke, kao i djelovanje kamera na brodu koje bi trebale gledateljima ponuditi vrhunski užitak u neobičnom natjecanju.

RaceBird je kao prvi trkaći brod na struju velika inovacija u maloj brodogradnji, a Agag dobro napreduje i već je dobio licenciju od udruge Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM) da E1 bude prva i jedina kompanija koja će organizirati Electric Racing Boat Championship. Podsjetimo se, UIM je svjetska krovna organizacija za motosportove na vodi.

Španjolac Alejandro Agag je svojevremeno pokrenuo cestovne utrke električnih automobila Formula E, kao i off-road vozila Extreme E. Agag do proljeća 2023. planira pokrenuti utrke električnih plovila u natjecanju E1 Series racing.

On želi da se utrke E1 Marine Racing World Championship, po uzoru na Formulu 1, održavaju po cijelom svijetu u vodom okruženim gradovima kao što su Venecija, Budimpešta, Monako, Sydney, Rio de Janeiro, New York, Hong Kong, London...

Agag je sklopio ugovor o suradnji s Rodijom Bassom, bivšim motorsport direktorom McLarena, pa su osnovali E1 World Championship organizaciju, te okupili tim stručnjaka koji je u samo osam mjeseci rada napravio trkaći brod s pogonom na struju.

Nazvali su ga E1 RaceBird, a u projekt se uključio proizvođač baterija Kreisel, dok je sami brod od karbona napravila kompanija Victory Marine. Basso je također angažirao poznate inženjere koji su ranije radili za McLaren, Ferrari i NASU, s time da im se priključila i Norvežanka Sophi Horne, osnivačica tvrtke SeaBird Technologies.

Upravo je ona odgovorna za dizajn RaceBird Electric Powerboata, a sama ističe kako je inspiraciju dobila od ptica u Švedskoj koje lete, odnosno klize po zraku iznad jezera.

Horne je odlučila da RaceBird ima po dva hidrokrila profila 400 mm sa svake strane kako bi se brod mogao tijekom ubrzanja izdignuti iznad vode i tako smanjiti trenje, odnosno povećati brzinu. Sustav hidrokrila daje brodu jednosjedu dužine sedam metara futuristički izgled, te omogućuje postizanje brzine od 50 čvorova.

Kreiselove baterije kapaciteta 150 kWh daju mu energiju za oko 40 minuta jurnjave po vodi, dok je pogon riješen izvanbrodskom pentom na struju. Za taj dio se pobrinula grupacija Brunswick angažmanom inženjera odjela Mercury Racing koji su kreirali specijalan proizvod.

Iako gornjim dijelom kućišta i formom podsjeća na klasičnu pentu unutra je čisti elektromotor. Najzahtjevniji dio motora je stabilizacijsko krilo na dnu koje preuzima težinu dok brod lebdi iznad površine.

Pomicanjem granica proizvoda i primjene za dostizanje maksimalnih performansi je u srži naše filozofije. Strateško partnerstvo poput ovoga omogućava našim inženjerima da prošire svoju maštu i predlože praktična rješenja. Ovaj proces pridonosi rastu industrije i poboljšanju iskustva plovidbe za sve, ne samo trkaće timove - naveli su u Mercuryju mogućnost da će taj motor uskoro biti dostupan i kupcima širom svijeta.

Velika inovacija

Agag želi da trkaći brodovi s pogonom na struju i njihova natjecanja postanu globalno popularni, a RaceBird naziva velikom inovacijom u industriji brodova. Uvjeren je da će električne utrke na vodi postati stvarnost i ujedno biti platforma za za pokretanje tehnoloških inovacija u pomorskoj industriji.

Koncept hidrokrila na električnim motornim brodovima nije nova stvar, slovenski kukcoliki dvosjed Quadrofoil s četiri krila je predstavljen prije desetak godina, a švedska Candela je veliki hit unatoč cijeni od 300 tisuća eura. Može se očekivati kako će s većim prodajnim serijama i cijena biti dostupnija iako realno to može proći samo na bogatim zapadnim tržištima.

Stoga je za svjetsku premijeru RaceBirda odabran Monako gdje je ove jeseni okupljena svjetska jet set krema s nezaobilaznim princom Albertom, a nedavni sajam u Veneciji bio je sajamsko predstavljanje za šire mase.

Prva plovidba je obavljena na rijeci Po kod San Nazzara. Pod budnim okom brojnih novinara električnim karbonskim bolidom težine 880 kg pilotirao je nekadašnji Powerboat World prvak Luca Ferrari.

---Testiranja će se nastaviti idućih tjedana kako bi se dobio što bolji uvid u maritimne sposobnosti u uvjetima utrke, kao i djelovanje kamera na brodu koje bi trebale gledateljima ponuditi vrhunski užitak u neobičnom natjecanju.

RaceBird je kao prvi trkaći brod na struju velika inovacija u maloj brodogradnji, a Agag dobro napreduje i već je dobio licenciju od udruge Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM) da E1 bude prva i jedina kompanija koja će organizirati Electric Racing Boat Championship. Podsjetimo se, UIM je svjetska krovna organizacija za motosportove na vodi.
