Božić je dan kada je Tvorac svijeta riješio da i sam postane dio tog svijeta, da uđe u njega i pokuša da ispravi ono što je čovjek, kojemu je on taj svijet povjerio na staranje, propustio da uradi i time i sebe i svijet doveo do ruba propasti. Zato je bilo neophodno da Bog interveniše ne bi li svijet opet postao “vrlo dobar”.

I to ne da interveniše spolja, odozgo, sa nesagledive visine, intervencijom koju čovjek ne bi ni razumio ni prihvatio (jer bi mu izgledala nametnutom), nego da djeluje iznutra, odozdo, iz neposredne blizine, kako bi to čovjek mogao shvatiti i prihvatiti kao nešto njemu blisko i razumljivo.

Bog je dakle, na Božić, u novorođenom Isusu postao čovjek. Pravi čovjek od krvi i mesa. I to zato da bi svojim primjerom ljudima pokazao kakav njihov odnos prema Bogu, koji se vremenom u potpunosti izvitoperio, treba da bude. A treba da bude takav da Boga sve vrijeme smatramo Ocem, kako nas je Isus neumorno učio, te da ga zaista i prihvatamo kao Oca.

Ne, dakle, kao svemoćnog i samovoljnog Gospodara čije naredbe izvršavamo, nego kao brižnog i pažljivog Oca čije savjete rado slušamo. Drugim riječima, ne da budemo njegovi podanici, nego njegova voljena djeca. Čitav poduhvat utjelovljenja i očovječenja Sina Božijeg se i sastoji u tome da pokuša da ljude ponovo privede Ocu Nebeskom. U tome je sva njegova misija, sav njegov zadatak.

A naše je da pokušamo da to shvatimo a onda i da to sprovedemo u djelo. Da prigrlimo Isusa i njegove nenasilne metode privoljavanja, te da se, poput bludnog sina, kako znamo i umijemo vraćamo u Očev dom. Jer je njegov dom i naš dom, samo što smo to u međuvremenu zaboravili. Isus je došao da nas na to podsjeti i ohrabri da se vratimo u zagrljaj Ocu koji nas neodstupno doziva i čeka.

Božić koji proslavljamo svake godine ne služi ničemu drugome nego da nas na ovo neprestano podsjeća.

Zato je bilo neophodno da Bog interveniše ne bi li svijet opet postao “vrlo dobar”.

I to ne da interveniše spolja, odozgo, sa nesagledive visine, intervencijom koju čovjek ne bi ni razumio ni prihvatio (jer bi mu izgledala nametnutom), nego da djeluje iznutra, odozdo, iz neposredne blizine, kako bi to čovjek mogao shvatiti i prihvatiti kao nešto njemu blisko i razumljivo.

Bog je dakle, na Božić, u novorođenom Isusu postao čovjek. Pravi čovjek od krvi i mesa. I to zato da bi svojim primjerom ljudima pokazao kakav njihov odnos prema Bogu, koji se vremenom u potpunosti izvitoperio, treba da bude. A treba da bude takav da Boga sve vrijeme smatramo Ocem, kako nas je Isus neumorno učio, te da ga zaista i prihvatamo kao Oca.

Ne, dakle, kao svemoćnog i samovoljnog Gospodara čije naredbe izvršavamo, nego kao brižnog i pažljivog Oca čije savjete rado slušamo. Drugim riječima, ne da budemo njegovi podanici, nego njegova voljena djeca. Čitav poduhvat utjelovljenja i očovječenja Sina Božijeg se i sastoji u tome da pokuša da ljude ponovo privede Ocu Nebeskom. U tome je sva njegova misija, sav njegov zadatak.

A naše je da pokušamo da to shvatimo a onda i da to sprovedemo u djelo. Da prigrlimo Isusa i njegove nenasilne metode privoljavanja, te da se, poput bludnog sina, kako znamo i umijemo vraćamo u Očev dom. Jer je njegov dom i naš dom, samo što smo to u međuvremenu zaboravili. Isus je došao da nas na to podsjeti i ohrabri da se vratimo u zagrljaj Ocu koji nas neodstupno doziva i čeka.

Božić koji proslavljamo svake godine ne služi ničemu drugome nego da nas na ovo neprestano podsjeća.

Božić je dan kada je Tvorac svijeta riješio da i sam postane dio tog svijeta, da uđe u njega i pokuša da ispravi ono što je čovjek, kojemu je on taj svijet povjerio na staranje, propustio da uradi i time i sebe i svijet doveo do ruba propasti. Zato je bilo neophodno da Bog interveniše ne bi li svijet opet postao “vrlo dobar”.
