Poznati pod nadimkom "nebeski štakori", golubovi mogu izazvati pustoš u vašem vrtu.
Ali, stručnjaci kažu da će jedna specifična boja cvijeta pomoći u tome da ih se uplaši, a nijansa je usko povezana s opasnošću. Dok vaš um možda skače na crvenu boju, koja se u ljudskom svijetu često koristi za znakove opasnosti, prometne signale i točke zaustavljanja, to uopće nije slučaj s golubovima.
Umjesto toga, vrtni centar Sefton Meadows tvrdi da je bijela boja ključ za tjeranje štetočina, zbog njenog značenja i upotrebe u prirodi. “Bijela je ‘opasna’ boja za ptice, na isti način na koji je crvena boja upozorenja za ljude”, objasnili su stručnjaci, piše Mirror.
Nisu bezopasni

Na prvi pogled, golubovi se mogu činiti bezopasnima. Oni se šetkaju grickajući mrvice na terasi ili provode vrijeme skupljajući granje kako bi izgradili gnijezda prilično upitnog izgleda.
Ali, oni su obično glavni krivci za uništavanje vrtnih biljaka i povrtnjaka – s jorgovanom, graškom i kupusnjačama među njihovim omiljenima, prema Kraljevskom hortikulturnom društvu.
Traka za zastrašivanje
Dakle, da biste ih zauvijek otjerali, bijele ruže, petunije i hortenzije su među najboljim cvijećem koje možete posaditi, uz lobeliju, božure i šasta tratinčice. Viseći sjajni predmeti, poput ogledala i CD-a, također mogu pojačati učinak.

Budite oprezni sa ogledalima posebno sunčanih dana jer bi koncentrirano svjetlo u suhom vrtu moglo predstavljati rizik od požara.” S druge strane, šiljci protiv ptica mogu imati različite rezultate, budući da su neki bili dovoljno pametni da ih kradu i grade gnijezda s njima.

Poznati pod nadimkom "nebeski štakori", golubovi mogu izazvati pustoš u vašem vrtu.

Umjesto toga, vrtni centar Sefton Meadows tvrdi da je bijela boja ključ za tjeranje štetočina, zbog njenog značenja i upotrebe u prirodi. “Bijela je ‘opasna’ boja za ptice, na isti način na koji je crvena boja upozorenja za ljude”, objasnili su stručnjaci, piše Mirror.
Nisu bezopasni
“Mnoge ptice imaju bijelu boju u svom perju kako bi pokazale jedna drugoj da postoji opasnost pred njima, pa bi sadnja raznog bijelog cvijeća oko područja koja želite zaštititi mogla biti dovoljna da odvratite ptice od slijetanja.”
Na prvi pogled, golubovi se mogu činiti bezopasnima. Oni se šetkaju grickajući mrvice na terasi ili provode vrijeme skupljajući granje kako bi izgradili gnijezda prilično upitnog izgleda.
Ali, oni su obično glavni krivci za uništavanje vrtnih biljaka i povrtnjaka – s jorgovanom, graškom i kupusnjačama među njihovim omiljenima, prema Kraljevskom hortikulturnom društvu.
Traka za zastrašivanje
Dakle, da biste ih zauvijek otjerali, bijele ruže, petunije i hortenzije su među najboljim cvijećem koje možete posaditi, uz lobeliju, božure i šasta tratinčice. Viseći sjajni predmeti, poput ogledala i CD-a, također mogu pojačati učinak.
To je prvenstveno zato što golubove, prema nekim teorijama, pomalo plaše vlastiti odrazi. “Ovo možda nije najatraktivnije rješenje, ali je prikladno, posebno na parcelama i oko gredica s povrćem i cvijećem”, dodali su stručnjaci.
“Također možete kupiti ‘traku za zastrašivanje’ koja proizvodi isti učinak. Budite oprezni sa ogledalima posebno sunčanih dana jer bi koncentrirano svjetlo u suhom vrtu moglo predstavljati rizik od požara.” S druge strane, šiljci protiv ptica mogu imati različite rezultate, budući da su neki bili dovoljno pametni da ih kradu i grade gnijezda s njima.
